Xbox breaks way too easy...

I just got a Xbox 360 5 months ago.
Now, 5 months isn't very long... But, hell, a week ago, it started to freeze up in certain places! It started when I got this Rising Dead Demo. Then after that it started to just suddenly freeze! Now it wont even start up!!
Pisses me off...
I mean, i have this super nintendo 10 times older than that piece of sh@t was, and it still works!
My conclusion:
Bill Gates is a cheap asshole who spends so less on the production of Xboxs and 360s, That they break a lot easier, just so it you can download all this crap off the internet! Evreyone likes Xbox better than nintendo, but the truth is that Nintendo accualty takes pride in their systems and want people to enjoy, not just to make a quick buck! ( The sony is kinda nuetral, becuase sony makes more than PS2s)

My dorky boyfriend has one....and the same one since Jan.1st at midnight (second shipment) over at Walmart. He treats it decent and it seems to be running fine. Maybe it's just a handful of them that are fuck-up systems?

Yeah I remember when games came on cartridge you could throw it and the snes against the wall and it would still work (sometimes even better lol) The problem is the companies want to use a little materials as they can to make production cheaper while cranking up price because they know people will buy it. If they could they would send you all the parts with no shell (outer cover) but they cant.

How you can fix it... I think you might want to ask a local game store. I think GameStop does it, but I just know they sell referbished stuff (consoles being one). If you were to search around the net enough, you could probably find something ( Maybe this site.)

i have a x box(not 360) it never freezes on me. u should clean your disk and it will probly work if not u just over played that shit..i dunno

my first lasted 3 months then began to frezze up and then the dreaded three red lights flashed on boot up.

the second i had for 2 weeks until the dvd drive started scatching up my games and the usb ports stopped working. microsoft sent me new copies of the games and a new box and said if it happens again your sol buddy. so i asked for my money back. the said i would have to go to the store i bought it at for that, witch at that point i couldnt because it had been way over 30 days. that point i took up with the microsoft phone lackey. he just said "you should have thought about that before you shipped it to us" i was "wtf buddy you told me not to take it back to the store, you wanted it sent in"

the third iam on right now and it is still working ok this has been the oly console i have evry had any issuses with

Have you even seen the fanboys? (Or my sig for that matter) I much prefer Nintendo, as I've said before (and will say again), Nintendo regularly creates an entirely new system each time and rarely repeat systems, meanwhile Sony and Microsoft recycle the old machine, throw in a few graphics boosts and a new skin, bend the controller slightly, and slap on a foot long pricetag for the slightly upgraded gamesystem you already have.

If you move the 360 around at all while its running, than the CD inside gets scratched to hell. Thats the problem, thats why I keep mine laying down and not standing up anymore. The USB ports I dont know about.

iam not that stupid. i know not to move a cd\dvd drive from vertical to horizontal while its spinning :) it was just doa.

hopefully my current one lasts until gears of war gets here. because really thats all the 360 has right now. all of there other games i can get on the pc for alot less moolah

the problem was that the power cord was screwed up so the 360s froze up and never worked again,but i thought they fixed that problem
