NG new topics

The new topics in the bbs are very boring or is just me?
Not all of them, of course. There are some of them that I can reply, or that I can laugh with but the other are just bad. Don't you think?

times have changed, the forums are gettin lame. Instead of posting stfu pics, they put it all to shame.

should we blame the mods? or blame the endless spam? or should we blame the n00bs who always get the ban?

Perhaps now that NG is off the Troma tit, Tom will consider loosening up the rules on the BBS. On the other hand, if he is courting "cleaner" advertisers the BBS will certainly become "cleaner" as well. I hop the "cleaning" does not extend to the movies.

if it extends to the movies i will leave NG
from what I gather this site has always been about violence and everything else not of the social norm...thats what I like about NG and if that suddenly changes I know that myself and others will leave NG

i think its that a lot of topics have been done already. when people post stuff that is interesting but has had a similar topic posted before they get major shit. maybe people are tryin to hard. then again maybe its late and im babbling.

ps: you guys probably think of me as one of those n00bs everyones always talking about. but i HAVE been around since, hmmm, 1999 despite the relative newness of my profile :)

pps i am also just begginning to work with flash so i wont be one of those guys who critisizes others work without ever having tried it. hopefully ill have some submissions soon!

I'd have to agree with Primus on this. Alot of the good topics have been posted and are soooo huge you'd have to dedicate a good couple hours just to read the whole thing to have a decent idea of what was going on. Or you could just make a blind post and sound like an idiot. I think some of the older topics need to be archived some where and let someone, anyone, start them over and get new ideas. I mean, that may sound crazy to some of you who have posted on the huge topics, but I think it would be a way to liven up the portal again.

it was locked, i found a way to post in locked topics and I revived it but the mods covered it up and liljim fixed it.

Sometimes people post funny topics and others start saying shit about how the topic will be locked, or how the author's a noob. I would like to see people start ignoring the fact that this bbs has mods, and as long as people use common sense, the worst that'll happen is they'll get a topic locked. The mods are reasonable people - that's why they were made mods. They're not gonna ban you for posting a spam topic without giving you a warning first, unless it's blatant.

BIGBADRON, wafflemaster, f8l, AdamBomb (if he still uses this board), pineapple or orange clock, others who I forget or are worthy and I don't know about...
