I'm glad this has happened. NG is more independent because of it, i'm new and have no money at the moment, but i'll contribute when i can

i would gladly sign up for a pay account to support NG and i know many others would too. i mean i paid to register gamespy and you get almost nothing for that. i just think its a good service and want to help out. i would do more for newgrounds because this is by far the coolest online community i have ever had the good fortune of being a part of. you guys all rock expecially the fulps for giving us this killer place to hang. NEWGROUNDS FOREVER!

Could a list of what we can do be brought up?
Y'know with like : This will give us ... But this would give more.
Not necessarily the accurate numbers, since some would whine that you make too much over your shirts or whatever.

Anyway, a list would make it easier and could direct the flow in one direction, why subscribe for something if you practilly get nothing while we could buy something that gives you more?

in fact I mute or change the channel whenever a coke commercial comes on because they are just so friggin annoying with dumb songs

What to worry about with soda is what they use it for and whats in it - its not good for you in general. they use Coca Cola to clean engines, windows, it sticks to your insides, clean battery terminals overall its not good for you........

The fact remains NG is without outside support (TROMA). Therefore we as the audience must support NG financially and the only viable way to do that is through paid membership or NG would have to find another sponsor(s)(like what flashkit does). There is little alterntive since donations never work. IF NG does implement a paid membership it would alienate much of the artists who are probably under 18. It's a difficult matter.

I still think he should get more major companies even if it means that ultra annoying Coke ad coming back.

Eeeep! I hope newgrounds won't charge us money for being a member here. But you can count on me to support newgrounds (cause I have some flash im working on in the wings). Good luck to newgrounds!

I know that if NG became a pay site.. I would join up. I think the best thing to do, is follow 1wrestling.com's example.. Have a site with banner ads, and popup ads. And if people don't wanna deal with them, they can join the premium part of the site for a fee... Be it monthly, or even yearly... And they don't have to look at banner ads or popups. It really helped 1wrestling out, as there haven't been many problems since they started doing this. It could probably work for NG too.

i see the sign-in icon has changed and it looks more jazzy than the other crappy one. thats good!
