Big congrats to the winners, especially you Dwarfinator. :)

Congrats, guys! You're each getting an XBOX 360, perfect for playing Castle Crashers and Alien Hominid when they come out! :)

Awesome prize.

I'm flying to Seattle tomorrow to showcase the latest Castle Crashers demo at the Penny Arcade Expo! As the name implies, it WILL probably crash a few times... But that's what demos are all about!

Good luck with that.

I mentioned last week that I would have some exciting news over the weekend, so I'm officially a few days late. The news is that Ross has overhauled his old search code! Searching for Flash submissions on NG will now yield much better results - Alien Hominid and Numa Numa are now listed first, rather than in the 20s like they were previously. Also, you can now search for "Dad 'n Me" for the first time ever, as we now accept three letter search terms! The new search is also running off a new read-only database server, put into the cluster by Tim and set up by James! The second DB server takes the load off our central database server. Does this mean BBS text searching and user profile searching could finally be making a return? I won't make any promises, but I'm hopeful!

Sweet and i hope BBS text searching and user profile searching will make a return but i hope the Popularity rank won't come back due to it's misuse of the Refresh button on the profile to cheat and get rank.

I'll be checking in via laptop from PAX, I hope to see some of you guys there! It will be my first time in Seattle!

I've heard Seattle is a great city just too much rain.

NOW IS WHEN YOU RAM HAPPY WITH LIFE SAUCE.

Bullshit. The only time there is too much rain is during Winter. All of the other seasons rule ass, and Seattle is my favorite city in the entire country.

Holy moly, Clock war Part III was a high candidate, Clock Tournament had a chance, but I didn't expect Dwarfinator to win! XD

Congrats to all of you!

great news Tom, and once again thanks for your generosity... I like how SilvercherryClock summarized the Clock Day winners best:

...they took three movies that basically described the clockcrew (Serious and well animated movies, badly drawn but hilarious movies, and awesome games) therefore the choices were perfect.

Congrats to all of those. They were all good, but I was expecting lord of the clocks to be in there.

as we now accept three letter search terms!

I can answer that! When I was putting together the form to create your profile 5-6 years ago, I needed an example "City, State" that would be recognizable by most people, and yet short enough to fit in the little space I had available in that layout. For whatever reason, Seattle sprang to mind as a big city with a short name.

And that concludes this episode of "Newgrounds Trivia That Nobody Cares About". :)

The news is that Ross has overhauled his old search code!

Oh yes, the new search. Funny, a few days ago when I searched for Alien Homind for no reason, I noticed the actual game was far down the bottom of the search page.

Also, you can now search for "Dad 'n Me" for the first time ever, as we now accept three letter search terms!

Wonderful, although I don't need to search for any flashes right now, but it's still nice.

Does this mean BBS text searching and user profile searching could finally be making a return?

I hope so. :O

And have a nice time in Seattle.
