Since eveytime I say that I get the same response, I'll just summerise what you will all do.
well, you havent read the last page then because then you would see that we dont cherish Halo as the best game, i dont even own any first person shooters right now
i will prolly be getting Halo 2 when it comes out though...
I added in the fact about X-box not being famous just to show some facts. Besides that, THAT ALWAYS HAPPENS! LITERALLY! Like 5 time just like that.
well then you were prolly arguing with morons, cause those looked like some lame-ass arguments

I'm sorry if you have something against the 3 greatest RTSs ever, or Games that are older then you.
And who said anything about the PS2 shelf? Real gamers expand their minds, man. What where you playing before Xbox? Kicking mommy's womb? I was playing Tetris...
So much Tetris...
Did you forget that part?

Just like we have for buying an Xbox and not buying a PS2 then? And, yes, I have been playing games for many years before Xbox.
I'm off to bed now.

Why make a game out of a crap record label? It should be Death Row Vendetta or Bad Boy Vendetta.
Rez is multiformat, as is the VF series, along with a few others from that list.
Final Fantasy sucks, they've milked it too far only changing the aesthetics and storyline, not changing the game at all, so mainstreamers and casual gamers like you will buy it.
Jak and Daxter and the other platformer thing with the stupid cliche sidekick, clankoo, show no innovation unlike TJ&E, Blinx and Sonuic.
And the GTA series is outrageously overhyped.
I've heard of few of the other games...

They sell more then any music you've ever made...
Rez is multiformat, as is the VF series, along with a few others from that list.
I'm not talking about series, I'm talking about games. True, Rez was on DC, but only in Europe and Japan. Also, VF4 is the greatest fighting game ever...
Final Fantasy sucks, they've milked it too far only changing the aesthetics and storyline, not changing the game at all, so mainstreamers and casual gamers like you will buy it.
Gasp, you have insulted my gaming status!
FFX has a totally new battle engine, each new installment uses a differnent system for character development (Materia, GF and Junctioning, the ability system, Sphere grid, Job system, Dress up mode...). The FF series has had much more innovation then Shenmue and TJ&E combined. Fun innovation I may add as well...
Jak and Daxter and the other platformer thing with the stupid cliche sidekick, clankoo, show no innovation unlike TJ&E, Blinx and Sonuic.
Is innovation really such a good thing? A game that lets you plant grass seeds and watch them grow would be innovative, but who would want to play that?
XB moron one: Hey Jimmy! I just got this game that lets me watch grow grass, you gotta check it out!
XB moron two: Wow, thats gotta be the coolest game idea since that paint drying simulatior!
Later, at XBM1's house...
XBM1: Wow, that grass was amazing! What! Whats this?
XBM2: It says you unlocked the water boiler...
XBM1: Wow, not I can watch water boil!
XBM2: Those PS2 gamers can have their fun games, but these Paint-drying-grass-growing-water-boiling sims are so innovative!
Back to the argument, I think you're talking about Ratchet and Clank. Sounds like you have not even seen it! have you seen all the things it can let you do! Have you even seen the commercial (Best Video game ads for 2002, Print and TV)
TV ad:
Oh my GOD! Jerry's a Chicken!
Print ad:
2 pages of scenery, plus a bunch of stickers to 'Create your own chaos". I took the gun off one guy, and gave it to a... chicken...
And the GTA series is outrageously overhyped.
Translation: I have never played it, I am alergic to fun. I'm off to play a Box-carrying sim!
I've heard of few of the other games...
Because you ain't Hardcore!

One of them old school point and click style adventures. Good if want something different...

No, thats the real name of the game. It's about a little kid who was born with horns. the people of his village decided to trap him in a HUGE evil castle. He got out of his cell, and now he has to save a Princess from the castle from it as well. Mostly solving mind numming puzzles, and occasionaly fighting shadow creatures...
Same 'Out there' catagory as Monkey Island.
Kingdom HeartsDisney, meh
May be a Disney game, but it's also RPG of the year 2002.
Wipeout Fusionfusion frenzy! run!!!
No, it's not Fusion Frenzy, it's one of those future racing games where you race on the walls (F-Zero, Extreme-G, Quantum Redshift)

Android Angels, Religion, Destroying God, Big Robots, the prequel to the legendary cult classic Xenogears...

Never heard of Zone of the Enders? The first was the game that a MGS2 demo disc got attached to. It's about huge super fast robots (designed by Yoji Shinkawa, the man who made Metal Gear Rex and Ray. Ya, the mech desings are even better then MGS) with swords and missle volleys and lots of crazy shit...
