Tropical Depression Debby has just formed out in the eastern Atlantic, just off the coast of Africa. It has top winds of 40 mph, and is expected to slowly strengthen into a hurricane as it moves towards Bermuda the next 5 days. However, it could change its course without warning, so it's best to monitor it, especially if it moves closer to the North American mainland.
Last year, we had already had four hurricanes, including 1 category 5; Katrina formed 1 year ago exactly today. This year, we haven't had a hurricane. I wonder where all the people blaming this season on global warming, like there were last year?
