Yeah i live right outside of our cities "ghetto" and have heard gunshots. Binghamton is a small city too, my car got "tagged" with graffiti when i first moved here too. Theres always some domestic dispute. I think when the lease is up i am outta here, moving to a better place with wiring that will let me run the computer, amplifier and microwave at the same time.

Come to Chicago! Sure, it's got its share of ghettos, but almost every neighborhood is on its way up! (there are so many neighborhoods where people tell me "oh, god, ten years ago I would never live here") Plus, it's got beautiful architecture, it's much cleaner than a lot of cities, and it has a public transportation system that, for the most part, works! (sure, the PT isn't as good as Boston's, but then again it's actually possible to drive in Chicago.)

Come to Macon, Missouri, a shithole of 6,000 in the middle of nowhere. The closest city of decent size in 1 hour away. We have a old millitary acadamy that became a looney bin and is know a retirement home for the elderly. I looks like a old castle, right by a corn field. And we have a drive-in theater that is still in operation and even still shows cartoons before the movies. And, we have 6 carwashes and about 20 antique stores and "Lolli's Exotic Livestock Market" ye-haw and a can of beans. And, the only place to get anything is Wal-Mart.

I made a gun out of large rocks an l shaped pipe and the top of a bottle rocket. I sent a rock through some kids fence. He deserved it. I also made a patato gun. Fun stuff:) And guns violence discrimination racism and hate should just be banned all together. And I'm not talking about taking away like assassin games I'm just talking about...Just non ignorance. During last summer, middle of the day, my notoriously drunk neighbor came outside naked, stood in middle of stree, yelled, "I'M FREEE!!!!!" and shot himself in the head with a .44 revolver.

This story is very true, and every Thursday I have to attend trauma counseling.

How come you don't move to Rochester? I was up there recently (consulting shit) and it seemed o.k. I liked it a lot better than Buffalo, which looked really dirty and run-down.

Since everybody else is talking about were they live I thought I might as well add my info. I live in Long Island, which in my opinion is a pretty good place to live. You have the North Shore, which is considered New York’s Beverly Hills. There are some amazing houses up there but cost mad money to live there. Then you got your ghettos like Hempstead and Roosevelt and shit. Roosevelt is were Public Enemy came from and I actually met Flavor Flav in my local 7 Eleven when I was younger, He is one crazy motherfucker. Then you got my poor excuse for a town. If any of you ever listened to the old Hot 97 morning show or watched the old Yo MTV raps remember Fat Dr Dre, he lives in my area. Met him in a diner one day. He was cool though, Anyway, you can also go out to the east end and chill at the Hamptons in the summer. Plus you’re right next to NYC, which in my opinion is the greatest city in the world. I love those Manhattan trips. Oh yeah I've never been shot at but did have a gun pulled in my face when a drug deal went bad (that was some scary shit) and you pretty much never hear gun shots were I live but I have heard them.
