The SS may be closed but the shit collabs will live on.

As a past contributor to the SS and occasional poster, I am saddened to see it go. However, the void of $hit flash will be filled. We'll have to see who jumps in those big shoes to try to fill them.

The Star Syndicate had its ups and downs, but was a great experience overall. I'm sad to see it fade into a memory. The Star Syndicate should really have a collections page, it's the only thing that would be just to commemorate one of the major groups in NG's history.

No suprise. It was only a matter of time before they had to take something seriously.

To be honest, most e-groups end up this way. I know myself from my own experience.

The only groups that have worked out really (from this site) are The Clock Crew and The Alliance.

But The Alliance has been close, and isn't really doing or has done anything. So props to the CC for keeping it real all these years. They're the originals.

no its not happening it cant sure some bad things happend people left but if there is steel people there that want to continue try hard to get more members so i hear its foods or wats his names fault but it cant end like this you need to fix your selfs this is wat i have to say winners never quit losers never win you were winners now your losers you ll never win untile you try agian you will think about this in the future thinking it was stupied wat happened that day well.............it was heroic_jak

Wow, this is really depressing. I feel bad for all the fags who don't realise what a revolution the Star Syndicate brought on this website. The created exposure for so many good animators who wouldn't have it otherwise, such as Taylor Bortner and more, and they KNEW what a good animation was. It doesn't fucking matter if they made shit animations so much, that was all part of the fun they were having and the people in it like ZekeySpaceyLizard and RTIL knew that just because you can animate well doesn't mean you should have to live up to the expectations of doing everything perfect. I know there were allot of people leaving shit in their reviews like, "why are you in the star syndicate, zekey? you're so much better than everybody else!" and i really admire the fact that this group was one of the few to accept good and bad animators and give them equal chance even if they weren't the best. The Star Syndicate were the brave ones who brought down shitty fads when all odds were against them so heavily, and didn't care who hated them, all that mattered was that the group was still together. And that was probably the greatest thing any group can do, and i think too many people only think about their "shit flashes" when they think of the star syndicate, but there's a much deeper meaning to the whole group.
