good old unison attacks, saving ass since after kicking sheena's ass the first time.

I don't use unsion attacks much. In fact, on my first playthrough it was all random button smashy.
Then, I learned more about techs and such. And I use Unsion attacks every once in a while. I never got combo unsions down though.

lol you should abuse them more often! and plus those big combos make boss's like abyssion and kratos more doable.

A well place combo with Collete can own, and Stardust Cross utterly owns the Dragon Knight.

Meh. I'm sure everyone else could do fine without her as well. She's almost a must for boss fights, though, unless you grind the piss outta monsters to become too powerful for the bosses to handle.

Grinding is ToS is boring and makes the whole game boring. I hate being over-leveled in that game.

It´s pretty much like this:
I use Lloyd and beat the crap out of the enemys with physical attacks (mainly Sonic Sword Rain, Hunting Beast, Rising Falcon and Psi Tempest). I also have Sheena, Genis and Kratos/Zelos in my party. Kratos/Zelos is actually doing nothing else than casting First aid the whole time while Sheena fights in the front and Genis provides me with backup.

I have tech type Lloyd.
My trademarked combos must be executed with the proper EX and compound EX skills and Sword Rain: Alpha must be done 200+ times.
The prerequisite for this is the Ability Plus EX skill that allows Lloyd to do 2 LV 1s in a combo.
Sword Rain, Sonic Thrust, Sword Rain: Alpha, and Beast Sword Rain.
Sword Rain: Alpha must be done 200+ time because if you do, then Lloyd will move to Beast Sword Rain without doing the rising slash seemlessly. I call it "27 Million stabs", because incliding the baasic combo, the entire combo is 27 hits....or 29, I don't remember.
Another combo requires Ability Plus and the Compound EX skill, Areal Attack, which allows Lloyd to do certain attacks in mid-air.
Tiger Blade, Sword Rain, Omega Tempest, and Rising Falcon.
With Areal Attack Lloyd can do Rising Falcon instantly after he finishes Omega Tempest, instead of landing first.
I'll stop there as I have plently of combos, those two are my favorite though.

I find that Kratos/Zelos are better suited for the frontlines. Their heal is just kind of a backup for if things get hairy and there's no Raine.

I have a variety of U. Attack combos, I try to utilize each character in the party.
I use Cyclone as my main for Genis, as I'm sort of a combo whore and I enjoy racking up as much hits as possible.
Greyshadow can vouche for each thing I said.

the game has some rough sections here and there like when kratos betrayed the party and you had to fight some punk ass angel then right after that kratos walks and says "i'm all G'd up, you know what you can call me the train man because im about to run a train on your asses".
sadly after i lost the fight on the first playthrough i can hear lloyd murmer "did someone get the license plate on that ass whopoing we just recieved!"

I've alwaays wondered how the fuck it happens when Kratos has only 300 or 400 HP in your party then suddenly gets 2000 HP when you have to fight him.

And Sheena has 3000 HP when you fight her, then suddenly, down to 700 HP.

haha its an evil rpg trick.
simply put they are giving that hp to exagerate the the fighting abilities of said character and to make them seem like a boss they will need a nice load of hp.
so far i only know one game at which the boss has the same hp that you fought against them with...radiata stories. i hate you jack! i hate you ridley!

I've done the game so many times, I can pinpoint what level is just right at every arc of the game, for every difficulty too.

You did a better job than me.
On my first time, I was pumped to fight Kratos, when the instant the fight started, my screen went black and the word "Ownage" slowly strided across the screen. By the time it was over, Lloyd woke up in the renegade base and I was like, "What the hell?"

Fixed (you put an extra 'a' in always)
The power of the Cruxis Crystal beefed up Kratos, that, or he was holding back the whole time.

And Sheena has 3000 HP when you fight her, then suddenly, down to 700 HP.

Explanation 1: She felt so strong when everyone fought her, but when they got to her level she didnt seem so tough.
Explanation 2: The wound she got from the Desian raid, weakened her permenantly.
Explanation 3: I raped her the night before the Desian raid and lowered her self esteem greatly.

Knux, an interesting side note, it seems this game is connected to Star Ocean 3 greatly. Sebastian is a robot from space, that landed on the under developed planet. In later cutscenes, Ganz wears and outfit that makes him look like Claude. Or so they say. And, when you choose the human side and go into Ridley's room at night, a ghost or something is there and you're teleported away into your house with Fayt's outfit, and scramblings of an "Under developed planet"

That game never interested me, even after watching Greyshadow play it for hours on in, I only ripped on the game and it's characters.

Well, Square-Enix made both game.
It's clear that Enix took a bigger part in this game, perhaps to stall for their next game at the time.
If you notice, Valkerie profile referrences were in it just about as much as Star Ocean, too games made by Enix--I think...

yes claude's star ocean anime outfit, that nasty as green jacket, the brown was better, yeah that weird as fayt scene and etherial queen and gabriel celesta from star ocean 2 was also in it as the final hidden bosses, another note is lenneth valkyrie from valkyrie profile was another boss, so was that bitch lezard.

lesson learned! play star ocean 2! idalacio without a limiter makes luther, freya, lenneth, and melphice from grandia 2 look like a poorly excecuted joke with no recoveries.

Did the people who made Radiata make SO and Valkyire as well?

And, on another note, we're basicly more of an RPG crew than a ToS crew. We talk about more than ToS. When I came to this conclusion, I also concluded this. I think we should abandon this crew, and start an RPG crew. That way, more people will know what' we're talking about and probably will attract more members. Because, not for nothing, not many people know of ToS.

What do you guys think of this? I'm not forcing it upon you, just tell me yey or nay.
