When you play a game, do you prefer to invert the Y axis? Or do you prefer to leave it at normal?
I always invert mine, it just feels more natural that way.

I'm not sure. I switch between games and all.

When I play on a console I always invert the Y-Axis. But when playing on PC, it's always left normal. I have yet to figure out why...

Agreed. I think it's has something to do with the way your thumb works, it must work different to a full hand.

I invert mine, particularily because I play a lot of Air fighter games. Example - Ace Combat 4.

Congrats on your first post, Mr.Tiny! A brilliant question indeed. I guess I just use normal or default myself. ^^

I never really adapted to converting it these days. When I used to play Ace Combat I did, and I even recall playing my old sega with the controller upside down.

I like the analog stick to be inverted as well.

Inverted wins. It just seems more comfortable.
Exept with a mouse.

I don't invert it, but I do like it to be super sensitive, so that you spin around almost instantly. It was hard for me to get used to, but it works good now. Anyway, back to the inverted thing, it just doesn't feel too comfortable with it inverted, but that's just me.

When I played my old flight sims like Red Baron II, I played with an inverted Y-axis for realism. However, when I play Allegiance, it's more convenient to play without it, less brainpower used, leaving me free for aiming my miniguns, planning a stealthy approach on a techbase, circling around the teleport reciever I'm galving, blah blah blah.
As you can see, I will plug Allegiance at every opportunity.

I invert everything. PC games and consoles. I don't know why I like it that way. Guess it depends on the first time you play a game with a mouse or dual joystick thingies.
