Ok...So I hit "Enter" to preview-play my movie...And it goes from 18 FPS to 2 FPS. What the hell happened?

Your computer is to slow to play the movie properly, try using ctrl+enter to export it and play, or change the preview mode to "no anti alias" or something.

Were you using a shape tween? Sometimes those can slow it down that bad.

My computer has been slowing down lately. I don't know why either. Maybe I have to clean it out?

Hmm... It might be spyware. A free one is "spybot". I use it and my computer is running like 2x faster than like 3 weeks ago =D

Use in conjunction with Ad-Aware, both are very nice programs and are free too.

This always happens on my comp when lots of stuff is going on onscreen. The best way to deal with it is just to export and preview there. I guess the authortime preview option has too much going on to run at the correct speed.
