in your case the one comes with the other. if you wanna make weed legal then you automatically dont wanna make alcohol and tobacco illegal

and if you wanna make alcohol legal for minors you automatically dont want to make them illegal

whether it's illegal or not, people are always going to want to experiment.

It's funny, pothead circles I've been in are always more cross and dismissive about cigs then they are about weed. I think that so long as people are aware and concious of what they are taking then all forms of drugs should be legalised.

I mean, compared with the later (cigs and alcohol) weed is alot statisticly safer. I mean, did you know that there are more drug related deaths then all forms of illegal drugs put together?

personally, I'd like the stuff I smoke to be legal. at least then it can be moderated, and made sure it's safe. as it is, the black market is booming, and people arn't sure what's in the drugs they take.

Make 'em all legal, it's called freedom, and as far as minors are concerned, that sounds like a parent's responsibility anyway and not a governments, but if I had a choice I'd probably still keep illegal for minors cause well...they're minors, but an adult should have the right to whatever garbage in their body that they want to.

Because kids don't necessarily have the maturity to be ready to make life-changing decisions with such deadly consequences as drugs, minors are not held to the same standard as adults because we just see them as kids, therefore if they don't have the same responsibilities they shouldn't necessarily have all the same rights. An adult on the other hand is ready to make decision that affect his/her life, and is old enough to understand and be accountable for these decisions. I didn't think it should've been that complicated...

never illegalise something entirley, that just drives it underground and into the black market. out of a lesser of two evils i'd pick illegalising it for minors even though that would probably push them to try it even more.
