I think a Goth who dresses Goth but doesn't take it seriously, only as clothing and style, is a smart and tolerable person. On the other hand, when they start pretending they're the devil, and that they buy chicken hearts to do they're "satanic rituals", well, that is just a very frickin sad way of getting attention. They just look like clowns, but less scary.

Actually Gothic refers to a 5th centery german style. go check the encyclopedia or dictionary.

fuck i sometimes get mistaken for a goth by those uneducated pricks. But then again most people now a days are not Goths.. there Nu-goths and are just doing all this shit for attention. I'm more gothic than most of the Nu-goths... but i ain't a goth.

Seriously when people can learn to looke beyond clothes, and music and stuff like that people will a step closer to happyness.

There aren't many goths... (even the fake nu-goths) that judge others by what they wear.. but because they get persecuted constantly by others, there bound to eventually snap.

Why are people so cruel to other people? Do they really feel that bad about themselves that they have to hurt people to feel good? I find helping people a much better way to feel good inside.
