The Rocket Launcher would DEFINATELY help. You'll only be able to use one, but it does help.

I thinking asking 5 stars on every mission for mercernaries is pointless and exasperating. Went through hell and turned around the same way to get ADA's stars. the first mission-not so bad. Second gets irritating because of the monks and many arsenal weaposn they carry. Third mission is extremely frustrating as enemies are hard to find and the gattling gunner can snipe you from the most inane positions. Fourth mission is alright if you can find the right spot the chainsaw ( might I add double chainsawed) guy really gets to me. Time and time again I saw the same head decapetation so not so fond of that mission. Hunk is amazing, his neck break move ranks the combos up. Wesker; do I even have to mention how amazing his take down moves are? Krauser; Knife moves are amazing, his double kick clears enemies like you wouldn't belive but the crossbow...no. Leon; takes time getting use to, shotgun and pistol don't do it for me much but you get the hang of it. Ada; the only reddeming feature about her is her sniper rifle and the special upgrade that comes with it. Overall I though there could of been a better objective then having to get 5 stars and evey mission for all charcters. Perhaps a G-virus side mission for hunk... that sounds nice. Hope we get to see him in RE5. Other than being an umbrella agent this guy aint so bad. No family but likes a drink occasionally. I'd retire at his age cause given umbrella mercernary money thats great money not to mention the benefits. I'd imagine they'd need all the medical they could get for what they go through.

seriously, it's so friggin hard and all you get is the handcannon. i can't ever do 'em with ada or leon, but the others pulled through. I had to get my friend to beat the leons for me, (he can beat the leon missions, i can't.) but nether of us can do ada. o well, can't say i want the handcannon that much anyway...

Am going to try using the rocket launcher on him this time (even it means throwing out some of my ammo to make room for it), its not really the ammo that is the problem of killing him for me, its the fact that he is much faster on pro mode and can even sometimes kill me just with one swing, even though my health is on max :\

As soon as im finished with this am going back for another round of Resi 2.. ah memories of the Tyrant boss... =D

And the worst part is its gonna cost you around 500,000 to get the " infinite ammo" for your handcannon. Truthfully I don't think its worth it but for the challenge yeah I guess but wow does that cause anxiety.

Just to let you know, one rocket launcher will not kill him. So be aware of that! You'll still need to use your ammos. Try a Shotgun or a Magnum.

I have heard how good the Handcannon is when you get it fully upgraded. I try to complete the Mercenaries for that and meh, I just give up. :| All this talk about RE4 is kinda making me want to play on it again.

i know how good it is...i have it.
and i don't know how it can be that hard to get the handcannon...if you get the fealing how combos work, and make good use of the time bonus, then it will be easy.

about how good the handcannon is: it's a more powerfull magnum at the start, that uses custom magnum rounds(no normal ones).
wen it gets fully upgraded, it will be a one-hit-kill wonder on most of the enemies, and totaly will pwn bosses.
the efect is like the rocked launcher, but with a lesser radius.

he takes sooooo much amo, but the trick for killing krauser easaly is using your knife and nothing but your knife. i don't know why, but the knife dose critical damage to krauser. i can kill him in a few slashes once he goes all crack-head on you.

dude, it's hard because of the weapons you get and the enemies you face. with people like krauser and wesker, yeah, it's easy. not with ada though...

that's what the chicago typewriter's for. :D back me up on this one guys, the typewriter can kill anyone in fuckin seconds. "oh no! it takes like 20 bullets!" well fuck dude, it fires at a rate of 10 per second, do the math, lol.

the efect is like the rocked launcher, but with a lesser radius.

that's cool and all, but the infininate launcher has a bigger radious and has a 1,000,000 one-time fee for ultimate killage. you can use the handcannon if you want, i'll stick with the clasics. :)

Killer 7 I feel surpassses the handcannon. Quicker rate of fire, considerable amont of damage, and quick frame rate reload when in comparison to the Killer is much slower takes longer to reload and doesn't show that much of a "wow" to it. Prefer the Chicago Typewriter anyday over that.

Well, if you get a little too busy killing the enemies and the chainsaw enemies come close to you, you wouldn't be quick enough to evade the chainsaw attack. And if I don't get the enemy killings right, I will fuck up there a lot.

Yeah, 10.00 power weapon and firing 10 bullets in a second. :D But Rocket Launcher I like more since it can blow up enemies, but for bosses, you could only need to use the Rocket Launcher ONCE on some of the bosses.

eh, the killer7 has NOTHING special, and i mean that, it has no exclusive upgrade.
even the broken butterfly is better, sure, the broken butterfly is weaker in the begining, but becomes way better later on in the game.

I just beat RE4 today and here's what I got to say:

-It's a bitch!
-Krauser wasn't hard to beat
-and the jet-ski part let me down

But other than those little flaws,I'm ready to play again!I've already tried Mercenaries and Assignment Ada...both appear to be rather difficult.Gonna probably try Separate Ways when I get back later tonight.

And can anyone tell me what "The Matilda" is?I don't think I've heard anyone talk about it,unless it's another name for the Chicago Typewriter...

the matilada is actualy a gun that leon used in RE2, it's the upgrade of his normal handgun in that game.
it's a handgun that fires normal handgun bullets, and has a 3 bullet burst.
it can also be upgraded.(i loved to lay with leon's RE2 outfit with that gun, but it eats ammo like zombies eat...eh, brains.)

-Krauser wasn't hard to beat

I thought he was one of the more harder bosses in the game, especially on pro mode (he probably killed me 30+ times)

-and the jet-ski part let me down

The controlls for that were'nt that great, but it was a nice sidegame action that made the end a bit more enjoyable

On another note, I got a loan of RE: Dead Aim today and after playing for 10 mins I gave up on it. The controls were worse then on Outbreak, the acting was poor and the noises that the zombies made nearly made me laugh out loud. The game probably gets a bit better but I dont think I'll have the patience to go through the hole game, unless it actually gets good.
Does it?

Thought the hardest part in RE4 was your first step onto the island. First time around took me awhile cause of the gunner that never ran out of ammo. The crossbow weilder who killed me at the most inconvienent moment. Ganados with the shields when my health was low. Overall the enemies kept swarming and the spots for cover were nowhere to be found but I guess there could be harder parts as to Ashley drving the constrcution truck....that was bad.

well, if you think a cross-dressing tirant is cool...
but it DOES get better(even for a small bit) i did enjoy my first time playing it, however.

Assignment Ada isn't very hard. It's short, but not so hard other than the end of that minigame.

And can anyone tell me what "The Matilda" is?I don't think I've heard anyone talk about it,unless it's another name for the Chicago Typewriter...

Oh, that's a type of Handgun. It's a good gun, but Infinite Rocket Launcher and Chicago Typewriter (I've not got the Handcannon yet) are far more powerful than it.

yeah, re4 is the shit. the clasics are great too, though. if you feel you need to get the old ones (trust me...you should.), start with an easy one like resident evil 2. if you like that, check out my personal favorite re...resident evil 0.

I'll admit that was pretty decent. Probably the only decent part you'll find... in the entirity of its crap.
