worse for you; Soda or Alcohol

I was wondering which of these drinks is worse for you. Taken in moderation neither will do significant damage to your body but they're both full of harmful substances. Alcohol is a toxin and caffiene is a stimulant used by plants as a pesticide. Now I know that none of you are chemists or dieticians but I just wanted to know what you'd guess. I think someone should suggest that Brainiac or Mythbusters try and answer this question.

Drinking Alcohol is fun, but it can give you a headache and can bring you upon bad idea's. You'll be a party beast and will be brave, like the story of this lad who fell of a building because he had to much alcohol.

Besides, Soda only harms dentures and bodyfat.

I think it would take a hell of alot of caffeine to do the same amount of damage as a few units of alcohol. I don't think caffeine has as much of an effect on the body than alcohol.

There is no doubt that alcohol is definetly worse.......god what a stupid question(no offense!!)
