I crack me up. Anyways, I'd rather play Allegiance than Runescape... Allegiance looks good, plays good, has a (relatively) good community, better pricing plan for actually playing than Runescape... In short, it's everything Runescape isn't, except for an MMORPG.

I'd rather play Pokemon even instead of Runescape... That's how much I hate it. It was nice for coffee breaks at work though, and at least in the RS1 days (I joined near their end, left about April 2004 if i recall correctly), the difference between free and member servers was... oddly enough... NOT disproportionate.

My point is that there are a lot of F2P games that are better than Runescape, and it's better to spend your 5.95 a month on something like WoW or something.

no i dont like runescape. Its a too repetitive piece of shit with horrendous graphics ( i dont even think it qualifies as graphics) its continously point and click and mmo's tend to have a community and runescape has none, everyone is a greedy ass bastard who only care about themselves and probably have no social skills or they just wanna be an ass. Personally i am bewildered that this game is as popular as it is but apparently the brits managed to find something to occupy a 12-18 year old gamer (i'm assuming thats the avg. age due to the way most people act) who has:
a bad computer
a parent who wont pay a monthly fee for an actual mmo like wow or eq and that kid doesnt have a job
or they dont know about any of the free mmo's that are actually decent and a fair number tend to have very good graphics (not including ones like maple story)
and lastly and this is my favorite reason for why a person plays runescape is that they are too stupid to play a game any more complex than that

i find it an insult not just to mmo's but to all games (cept E.T. for the atari) i think runescape should die soon and very very slowly because while most games tend to damage a person's social life (but i doubt these people had one to begin with) i say at least have your social life destroyed by something thats moderately good and not a complete pile of pixelated shit

o and if you pay 5 bucks a month for their members section i say your worse than the free players because your paying 60 bucks a year for crap you could get for free (end rant)

Its not a bad free MMO and for $5 you get alot more. I know I used to play it like crazy before I got WoW. Now WoW and CSS take up all of my free time.

o and btw Rakinite WoW is about $15 a month.

its too simplistic for my taste it requires no brain power at all i like a game where you have to plan things out and you have options and in runescape you dont really have options as to what race you are what class you are in the end its just a race to see who can farm the fastest and that happens to any mmo that gets too big so thats why i play the smaller less known mmo's where the other smart people go

actually yes it is simple point and click from a few friends who managed to withstand its shittiness for more than 1 day (thats all i played) it requires very little concentration to play as most of the time you can kill something and it cant even hit you

and well i didnt read everyone's posts but i dont think im being an ass

as for difficulty you probably think its hard because its a never-ending grindstone (which is why i love GW!!!)like most mmo's
