The reason why "whites run the world" is geographical and antropological.
Most major world cities are located within a narrow space between 35 and 50 degrees North latitute. Why?
This area has the best combination of sunlight, temperature, elevation, and rainfall needed to produce healthy, nutritious, and diverse plants. In turn, bigger and stronger animals arise that can be eaten or demosticated. Thus, this area can sustain organized, sedetary human life - civilization. The societies expand from tribes to nations to empires on the ready food supply and stable climate conditions. This alows them to organize into strong economic, military, and technological powers.
It just so happens that this 20 degree margin recieves an amount of sunlight that does not require a large amount of melanin skin pigment. Thus the inhabitents evolve with less of it than, say, Africans, and appear to have whitish skin.
As you can see white nations are powerful because the climate condusive to civilization neccessitates lighter skin pigmentation. Below is a chart of major cities along that 20 degree area.
