In an effort to inform and to educate the masses, a politics crew will be formed. To join, all you must do is put a quote in your BBS signature like mine and number your self accordingly. As a member, you agree to enlighten all that may look apon your opinion on any BBS post.
if anyone has any ideas about the direction the crew may take, it would be greatly appricated.

Members of the politics crew are often frequent users of the politics BBS, and the politics crew itself is meant to brand and band them together.
In order to join, you will summarily be approved by a current member, and seeing that someone is a member on one of their posts is a "stamp of quality" for the user, showing they have the endorsement and approval of the politics crew.

Hey guys, I'm thinking of Bringing My political club over to this forum. I was just wondering how I go about registering my group so we can be official.
Also, I think I might want to join you guys. Let me read over what you guys are all about.

1)Yes, the ying-yang in my signature is a good thing to use, Evanuato
2)If you can't tink straight then this isn't the club for you
3)The basic ideals of the politics crew are in my profile (No, it's not a trick to get more popularity. It's just a convenient place to keep them)

It might help if your quote was actually grammatically correct. Try spelling it "you're."
Also, I thought that quote was attributed to Golda Meir, not Winston Churchhill.

yeah, it's taking a while to move them over, so many ppl think start a new one - very confusing!
..so i made a Registrar of Clubs and Ted_Easton already added "political" to it.

I'm not keeping track of numbers, if you're a member, you're a member. Just add in the litle ying-yang I have in my sig, and possibly a political quote, and I'll know you're in whenever I see one of your posts.
The symbol conveys intelligence, respect, and sets you apart from the masses.

Why would anyone form a political party? Because it’s a way for people with the same ideas to ban together and get a point across.

Actually, there are widely varying ideas and opinions across our group. Some support war on Iraq, others don't.
Any opinion is welcome, except for "Why would anyone make a politics club?".

It is a Golda Meir quote. That guy's just a retard trying to act smart and he screwed the whole thing up.

You know, it's REMARKABLY difficult to keep track of everything everyone said.
Evanuato has been doing this for years, and he currently has millions of conversations. He's doing his best, so let's not nitpick.

Ah, Spike, thanks for mentioning me! I haven't had a chance to move on over here and check this out, as I've been busy defending against idiocy in the Politics forum. Some guy talking about how the United States destroyed the WTC's on their own to start a war and boost Bush's ratings.
Argh! The stupidity never ends! Well, there, I've added the Yin-Yang to the signature and removed Anti-Bush. That was a bad plan.

there is no "right"way.
We can use it as we see fit.
AND- There is NO official stance on the war on Iraq. Any opinion is welcome, and there are widely varying opinions across the club.
We are to DEBATE opinions/facts, not to all have the same.

ya, i believed that Mr.Bush planned it on his own too at one point and time, but the lack of evidence + the ahtred i recieved for believing such made me drop it(there may be no proof that Bush planned it, but theres no proof that Bin Laden planned it either!)

to join won't we all have to have te same opinion on issues, though?like an anti-war could answer a question, and it would represent the way the crew believes......

Hey, as long as it's a well-researched and presented opinion, I have no problem with people being Pro-War.
