The thing that sucked with the gamecube one was the multiplayer sucked and the fact that your town was made into blocked sections. The reason why the DS one is so fun is because you can acctually go to a website and post your friend code, add someone elses and you can visit their town or they can visit yours and you can both be in it at the same time having fun playing little games and stuff. Also you can showoff your house and outfit.

I exchanged my gamcube version at a gamestop to get a discount on the DS version.

Play with the charger plugged in. You won't have any problems with low batteries. Also play near a computer for the best connection.

i play online near the computer all the time. i get friend codes and im people as i'm playing online.

i probably had another emblem. there's more than just one person with the middle finger emblem. i reaaly wan't to exchange friend codes, so bring your ds to the computer and type it in because i go on wi-fi alot.

i got a ds lite, so my new friend code is, 103 156 593 238.

i'll tell you. ds lite, and mario kart ds is a perfect combination. mission mode is not as frustrating with the super easy controls.
