warning: the Clockday Preloader

A warning for those of you who've downloaded the official Clock Day 2006 preloader: TEST YOUR MOVIE BEFORE UPLOADING! The preloader may disable your movie due to a script that was supposed to block its use till August 14th, but now it appears that script is not working properly.

If the preloader fla you downloaded has the following message in it:
"If you use this preloader before August 15th 2006 your movie will not function"
The preloader will not work.

If the preloader fla you downloaded has the following message in it:
"If you use this preloader before August 15th 2006 I'm telling your mom, I am not kidding mister!"
The preloader will work.

--How to fix the faulty preloader--
Double-click the preloader, and on the first frame of the top layer, delete the actionscript.

--or--
Go to www.clockcrew.net and download the fixed preloader from the fla library.

Thanks, I found the preloader in the Clock Crew library, and it was the older version which didn't work! You saved my life!

Unfortunately some excellent Clocks and Clockfriends don't frequent clockcrew.net but still submit movies on Clock Day. Plus I felt really bad about this and just wanted to spread the word both on cc.net and here for people to watch out.
