I have heard rumours of a USB cable that's able to link to your DS Lite thus allowing you to play it on the computer. I was wondering if anyone had any info on this USB cable.

Mods, if this is considered illegal, feel free to close the thread. I don't think it is, but I may be wrong, so please don't ban me. >.<;

An important question remains: why the hell would you want to play DS games on the computer?

Wifi-Cable? You mean the thing that allows you to play online? No, I heard a rumor of a USB cable that connects to the DS and allows you to play your DS on the computer (like an emulator would). I want to know if this is possible because then I could rip sprites from my DS games.

There isn't a commercial-running emulator out yet.

Yeah, but the odds of having the original game in the beginning is rare. And if you do, then the only reason to download the emulator is if your system no longer works.

No, one of my games I want to rip sprites from, the rom doesn't work to well. So how do I rip them, well, that's why I want the cable, so I can rip all these damn sprites.

It's legal if you own the system/games you download.

And there is no point in playing your DS lite on the computer. You're probally mixed up with hooking it up to the computer to connect it to the internet allowing for online play on games like Mario Kart and Tony Hawk American Sk8land.

As I said, I'm not confused, I know about the other things with online play, I own it (it sucks, I can't use it >:[ ), I just HEARD a rumor about the USB thing, I'm not getting it mixed up cause I'm not sure if the cable's real. Although it seems to be fake since no one seems to have any info and some dude said it was just a fake pic.

There is also an M3-type device you can use in your DS, which is a flash card on which you can put whatever you want. Yes, even DS roms. Also works with GBA, GB, NES and SNES roms.

Works 100% of the time, and it's just like you own the real game.
