Just out of curiosity, what differences are there between Flash 8 and Flash MX 2004, if any... I'm fooling around with a trial of 8, and am considering buying a full copy...

Flash 8 has filters, MX04 doesn't.

mx 2004 to flash 8 was the biggest change in flash history. it has bitmap data, filters, some additional AS, and works much better with video. i would suggest getting it. upgrading should be cheap no?

flash 8 boasts the biggest change. i dont know if it was a marketing ploy or if its actually true, but its known as the biggest upgrade.

Flash 8 is better because it has filters and looks slightly more futuristic and therefore is better.
