Hey guys, I was wondering about the communities take on machinima. I have submitted 3 Halo machinima and they were blammed. I don't know if it's cause it's machinima or cause it was un-portal worthy. I do machinima a lot, and was wandering if I should even bother posting it on new grounds. Any thoughts? Thanks.
BTW: for those that didn't know, machinima is making movies using video games.

you mean sprite movies, well most of ng doesn't like sprites but upload you movie to www.imageshack.us or something and well see

Well, no, not sprite movies, but actuall game play captured movies. for example, Red vs. Blue. Thanks for the repley though

Ok, im sorry, but no one really grasps the concept of this. its not just me playing the game, we have other people act, and we tell a story, with a PLOT. its not just me playing a video game, that would suck.

Yeah, I checked out the Starcraft thing, and it was good, but I'v never really seen any FPS Machinama.

I saw the Starcrafter movie... reminds me of SC on Bnet. [derail] There are a good number of "RP" maps in which people basically have the equivalent of godly powers to spawn and create units, but use those abilities to create stories. Before patch 1.14 I used Inhale to save chatlog-enhanced replays and in essence, create little movies... for reference purposes. I wonder if anyone wants? [/derail]
