has anyone noticed that wes craven loves blood so much that there are gallons of it in his movies, has anyone seen the hills have eyes? if you have, you can say that it was just blood and mutants, does anyone see the purpose in this?

Hey, I just mentioned this movie in the "Pulse, my review" thread. You stole my recent mentioning of it!

He was referring to the good one, not the remake.

actually, i was referring to the 2005 one, it sucked, they thought that by putting tons of mutants and bloody pickaxes would make it better

Does anyone remember that old Freddy Krueger flick where the whole premise of the story was that Freddy was entering the "real world" and killing everyone who worked on his movies. I swear that movie had some pretty goofy parts.

They're both excellent horror movies. Although the first one was better, new horror is so terrible these days that even the new one stands out.
And Wes Craven only directed the original.
Try watching Last House on the Left. They're remaking that soon and it's one of Wes Craven's earliest and best movies.

'The People Under the Stairs' was a really good Wes Craven flick. I thought that part where the little black kid blew that crazy leather-wearin' dude to kingdom come was absolutely perfect.

I don't see the appeal of mindless gorefests.

Wes Craven needed that extra $2.50.
