Preferably in an instant, less than three seconds definately. I'd like it to come as a surprise so that I don't know it has happened. Basically a sudden blow to my spine or decapitation from the back, though explosive near cranium would be nice as well.

Ok, here's what I would do. I'd get onto the roof of a tall building. Then I'd tie some really sharp wire around my neck, and anchor the other end to something strong, on the roof. Then I'd glue my hands to my head and jump of the building. This would result in me having my head cut off and falling the the ground dead, with my hands glued to my head. Then people would think I pulled my own head off.
