FL doesn't have good drums. They have shitty samples, I tell ye. If you are going to use virtual drums, make sure the kick is big, phat and bassy, and the snare is full and not gay.
lol.
But, if you have a real drumset on hand, feel free to record it and sample it. Real drums own too :)

You, should DEFINETLY use drums on fl studio, but make sure youve mixed them and made em less shitty, because fl drums arnt the best. And then create a pad FROM SCRATCH and a bass, and MIX Mix MIX.

Sorry to highjack the thread, but does anyone have good sites for dnb-style drum samples? All my drum samples are way too acoustic-sounding, and I've been inspired to put together some jungle-style tracks.

ooh, you need samples? I have like 100mb at least of some really good drum'n'bass samples. PM me your email and I'll send em'. There really aren't any good websites, and you usually have to download them individually.

Shorten up the acoustic samples you have, and viola. Jungle samples. Unless you want a big, bassy kick. Then you'd have to stretch it... and I don't recommend that. BTW, I've said this MORE THAN ONCE.... go to google and put in 'breakbeat paradise'! You'll get some sexy samples from there!
