Probably the best game (My favorite anyways) for the original Playstation. It's addicting, challenging, and fun.
Basically it's a side scroller. You play as the pilot of the Einhander (Or maybe the pilot is named Einhander, I can't remember) who basically is the best pilot around with a strong ship and so forth. It may sound a bit cliche, but the story doesn't really matter in this game.
It has MANY, and I mean MANY levels. I mean you go through these different sections (You know, like from "world" to "world") and each one has a miniboss and a boss that you fight. So not only do you get to fight a ton of unique and interesting boss fights, but each one has different abilities based on the terrain you're in.
Each level also has different enemies, which keeps it interesting and challenging.
Speaking of the difficulty. It's extremely hard at first, and sometimes very frustrating as there is no way to save. You get 10 continues and four lives per continue. And if you lose them all, game over, start again.
Another thing I love about the game is the music and diversity of weapons.
Anyways, that's my short rant about this game. It's pretty much amazing, you should all go buy it (Or rent it if you must try it first) right away. Though it might be hard to find.
