The new "fuck" of our generation

I noticed that cunt is the new fuck of our generation, seeing how people randomly throw it around. Shit I remember as a kid saying "fuck" made you the bad ass of the school yard, now cunt is the like ultimate insult.

Judging how people randomly throw it around the BBS, it seems more like a sentence enhancer than an insult. I mean, look how it can broaden an essay thesis:

"In the novel, "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest", Patrick Randal McMurphy opposed all actions by head nurse, Ratchet."

Not strong enough.

Now, that's a bad ass thesis.

I personally don't see what's so strong about the word. Personally, it's just another vulgar word that'll lose effect in a few years and something else will come along and take it's place.

I don't know, cunt has been around (and more harsh than fuck) for a while. Thing is, cunt is limited to insults, whereas fuck is quite versatile and can be used as more than one part of speech.
