...And Justice for All= Their best

I recently learned ...And Justice for All on guitar, and by god, it's a work of art. Starts out with a beautiful lick on clean and then gets really heavy. I love the guitars thrashing and answering each other throught the song. The vocals, punishing, James delivers, and they have haunting lyrics. Here are some.
Halls of justice painted green money talking
Power wolves beset your door hear them stalking
Soon you please their appetite, they devour
Hammer of justice crushes you overpower
To name a few. The chorus is absolutely fantastic. Riveting bass line, and unforgiving drum rolls, and crashing cymbals. Basically I'm trying to say that ...And Justice for All is Metallica's best song. Ever. Here is the link to listen to it, I think it's live, and not the original recording, but you should seriously check it out. Anyone agree, or think there are better songs?

I think harvestor of Sorrow has amazing guitar but For Whom the Bells Tolls is amaizng as well

Of course, those are true classics, but I think in ...And Justice for All, everything clicked. It's a masterpiece. They put all of their brutality into it, just the whole feel of it. After playing it, or even hearing it, you really want to rip someone's head off and give George W. Bush the finger. Just amazing. I just think it's better than all the rest, even better than Ride The Lighting.

...And Justice for All is awesome, don't gimme wrong, but I think that there slightly later shit is better (before about ReLoad).

For Whom the Bell Tolls is my favourite, Ride the Lightning being my fave album. Don't really know what's the 'best' cause I don't play, I just listen.

I could never really get into any of the ...And Justice For All album. I much prefer Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets and Black Album.

Holy Jeez... you're debating Metallica albums? I thought for sure you musta been older than me. ...AJFA, MOP, and RTL are all up for debate, but I think Kill 'Em All is my favorite. It's borderline Punk sometimes.

Its intresting you bring that up, Metallica really changed after that record. Ride The Lightning was an incredible Album. Overall, though Orion is just amazing from start to end. That link is missing Cliff Burton, but sounds about 80% of the track on Master Of Puppets.

It's really one of the most fun things to do, in my opinion.
