The reason everyone makes a big deal out of your posts is usually because its all swearing, or something like that, but besides that your right, there isn't a reason to do that

Yes I agree with you for the most part, but some of the mods have been spamming a little much lately. Also, people only get mad when a noob sucks up to a NG staff member in a spammy post such as "Man, you're the greatest!" that is completely off-topic, therefore clutering the thread.

But..BE HONEST... if a level 2 user, with no experience, no flash, and haven't done anything barely known in NG, have made this thread , I'm sure it would have been locked, either poster-banned. Just an example, that thread is funny, but when someone else, with no popularity, makes up something like that, it goes simply ignored, flamed, or harrashed.

Treating users with equality IS DIFFICULT. Since I got my 1000th post, mods have ignored some bans, or maybe made them shorter... or maybe I was more careful, I don't know, but I'm pretty sure I skipped a couple of bans already, maybe more.

It's a website, for teenagers. Don't expect much maturity... but from NONE of the users. We can release our funny, witty, stupid, sick side here, let it be. With some rules, but let it be.

About sucking-up: Oh well, this is pretty hard. I will be honest, I don't really like you (I'm talking about Wade, k?). I know, I know... I have been only here since 2005, but still.... Your epic "shove it up your asses" thread, for example, was just too harsh. People are unexperienced, don't know a shit about NG, they're trying to learn, don't be so harsh with them...they're asking for help to you, the "NG police commander", if you want you to call like that, I mean, that guy who marks movies, and beat the crap out of baddies. I have commited a couple of noob mistakes talking with you Wade, like for example with that guy who sent once and once again movies, then swapped them for porn. Just didn't think well at that moment, and then I felt too ashamed, and humillated, to PM you again. I think that's how a lot of people feel, ashamed, and terrified of your mighty ban stick, that's what cause so much sucking-up from users who really don't know anything about the site in general (you must have your own army of serious fans, however), and therefore causes so much harrashing against mod/admin asslickers. It's just a political reaction, don't be so suprised, and angry about that.

Some of you seriously need to pay more attention in your reading comprehension classes. No one is saying you can't disagree, we're just saying you need to put some thought into that disagreement, vs. making easy one line posts that add nothing.

If you want to disagree with a moderator, don't just say "you're a power mad fucktard who drinks cum all day" why not actually try making a logical argument to refute their points? Same with any other user.

Some people around here make posts that are so ridicolously stupid I cannot believe you'd talk this way in reality. Some forums let you junk them up, and use the internet to flame people in total anonymity, NG is asking you to make respectful posts when you disagree with people, or you will incur consequences, what's so hard to understand about that? I applaud the new rule.

Also, to all you people talking about "mod spamming" you know what? Report actual names to Wade or other mods, with examples, or shut the hell up, because making those types of posts is exactly the kind of disrespectful stuff we're trying to phase out around here. I'm not saying mods are perfect, we're human just like you, but if you want us to work better as a team, and address shortcomings you think we have, then you need to (there's that word again) INTELLIGENTLY and with EFFORT make your points about what a particular mod, or the team in general needs to do to be better or more professional.

I've always had the same policy whenever I post in this forum. If I insult someone, and they insult me back, I will not ban them or use my mod powers in any sort of way to threaten them. I will just insult them more.

I think that's fair.

Wade I am not disagreing with you and I am not complaing about how the forums are ran but the mods do use there power for the wrong reasons some times. But still I do agree with you, there are too many people who actually rag a little too much on people who try to get a importiant point across.

I agree, I think the overly stupid deserve to be insulted but i don't think Wade's
saying we can't insult people, just not for stupid little things like arse kissing and

I really agree with what you have to say. It can make everyones time on the BBS a drag. If we all were happy and got along, it would be awesome. Yet there were people in Tom's level icons topic making comments about people being excited for the levels. WTF?

This makes alot of sense, and I completely agree with Wade. I love NG, and I love the BBS. I like coming on here, arguing my point, or just laughing at things people post. And it's not fun, when a mod makes a crack and people say something about ass kissing because I think it's funny. NG is supposed to be fun, and people should learn to appreciate it more than they are. Some people take for granted that NG is a place where you can get away from the problems of your day, or occationaly vent them if they aren't too stupid.

Well said Wade. And you might not get this much, because of the whole people taking NG for granted, but thanks for attempting to create a better atmosphere for NG.
