Controls for the Virtualboy?

I'm trying to find a certain button for Pokemon Red on the pc, I need to cut this bush away. But the game doesn't give any controls or explains how to use the Cut option. (I know I need to use Cut special attack with a certain monster, but I try'd it in fight but it woudn't let me).

Help please, I used Google and like 20 walkthroughs searching for it.

Also, I bet I'm getting flamed.

go into your pokemon list and select the pokemon with the cut ability and there will be a option that says cut, do it near the bush

press start and then press "pokemon"

Go into the menu, select whatever pokemon has it and choose cut, it ain't hard

Return key = start
backspace = select
Z = A
X = B
A = L
S = R

To get to the pokemon list press return then select pokemon with the Z key.

I hope you're using the same version of virtuaboy that i had or else this is a waste of time.
