Depends on how old she is. -_- Besides, she'd be my sister. If it was weed it'd be a different story, but coke is different. One try can get you addicted or even kill you. Making it a habit is suicide. Sorry, but I wouldn't just stand idly by. I'd flush most of it, and give the rest to my parents and let them deal with it. I wouldn't really know what else to do.

But I wouldn't turn her in to the police. My parents might, but that'd be their call.

I wouldn't 'stand idly by' and I would ask her how often she does it, but I wouldn't cause any undue grief. I mean, we've no idea what the circumstances are, she might do it about once every two weeks, she might be buying enough for a party and for all her mates and she might owe her mates a decent amount of money if it gets thrown away, and just because she's got coke doesn't mean she's a cokehead.

One try of anything cannot get you addicted by definition of addiction. I know loads of people who have done coke and they're not all cokeheads - in fact, none of them are. And one try wouldn't kill anyone unless they're allergic (like ecstacy) and if she's got a decent quantity it's fair to assume she's done it before and isn't allergic and it wont kill her.

Don't let your stance on drugs be entirely guided by bias and fear.

It is coke tell someone about it and make sure she can not get her hands on it. Ifit were weed, X, Or LSD then i would not probaly worry, but since it is coke that can make you get addicted and you can die. I suggest putting back were you found it and telling your parents.

Imagine how your mum will feel if your sister ends up in jail. Parents don't want their kids doing drugs, but even less so do they want them in prison.

And even if she's not sentenced to prison, she'll still get a criminal record, which will fucking devestate her life from that point on.

You could do one of 3 things;

Sniff it, and end up dead or seriously fucked up.
Tell on her without knowing for sure it's cocaine and end up looking like an idiot
Spy on your sister and see what she does with the stuff, and then go tell someone.

Cocaine is not some shit you should be joking around with. It may give you a better high that weed, but it destroys your body. If you're sister's on that shit, get her off of it.

Personally, I think all those feelings will go because they know it's for the better (if she ends up in rehab). But yeah, that might lessen her chances of getting a good job in the future.

Now that I've had my eyes opened a bit, how about sitting down with your sister and having a talk? If it doesn't help, try any other person who is close to you, and is experienced with such things. But don't tell your parents. They might take it the wrong way.

I suggest getting something that looks like it and ruin in (e.g burning) but keep the real thing in your room and if you find out she really was holding it for someone or that it wasn't hers, give it back. And don't tell your parents, they'll probably hate your sister forever. Even though you'd get all the attention and new gifts all the time, but you wouldn't want your sister to be unhappy would you?
