Is it just me or is ParagonX9, like the grnd daddy of NG audio..He has a bunch of his music on the audio portal front page, I see his music on like 1/4 of the flash on newgrounds have his music, and he has some of the highest scores for his music anyone has ever seen!

I'm just wondering but does anyone else agree?

paragonx9's tracks are all at the least of a platinum. there is no dispute if he is king or not, only next to dimrain47.

his image has been on the front page of the audio portal for like over a year now - saying "all his songs are platinum" means nothing - in fact - take one number out of each of his d/ls and you'll prolly get what his tracks would actually be d/led as if they werent up there - trust me - being on that page for even a week will give you a couple hundred extra downloads..

of course then dont tenchu - thats what makes our portal lovable and predictable - we should work on a collab sometime - my skills are still slowly moving up at a snails pace :p

and for the other guy - ya of course jermain rocks - but if it had been any of the other high ranking regulars at the time like lets say.. czer323 you would all be worshipping HIM instead - what im saying is that no matter who had been put on that dias they would be turned into an instant GOD..

Once again, you people keep acting of jealousy.
Besides, "SIX1" --also known as SaintIsaiahXstormer1 Studio's is a bit too centered towards the creators to be something I see interest in.
Dimrain has some ok music, and even though people claim for him to be "overrated", that too is out of jealousy of success.
I don't see any reason to go against a author of music because his music appeals to the masses.

yep, this point does keep arising, but hey, the kings deserve to be where they are for one reason or another. although a gazillion downloads would be nice, i am more than happy with the kind and constructive words of a few artists who i have mutual respect for and the few random street freaks who dig my tunes.

and no I don't - thecomet beat me - however sinc his first submission still has only like 70 d/ls and his songs have like 6 submissions each practically I guess I still have the most quality per song? I dunno all his were uploaded in like a years time..

I would consider martin/B0UNC3 the king of newgrounds, he's been here for a year and is offically the 2nd (very close to first) most popular artist. Unlike paragon whose been here for FOUR years PLUS the benifit of front page.

no offence to you's all, but can we move away from all the electro shit plz for once, yes paragon makes gud tunes, but jesus there is a bigger world of music out there. Id put kingbastard ahead of paragon or dimrain anyday, the guy explores music in a way they never do. I love me dnb but KB deserves the recognition that he never gets. a few hundred download on each of his tunes, that guy sould sell millions if he were signed.

just listen to more stuff than the electro, really, theres classical artsists here who wipe the floor with paragon et al, broaden your horizons, listen to other genres you'll find truly great artists everywhere.
