You really shouldn't use Photoshop as your main drawing tool as it kind of defeats the purpose of vector animation.
Of course there are exceptions, but usually while you gain freedom in the drawing of frames, you lose alot of freedom in the actual animation process.
o
I use a wacom. I'll occasionally sketch a rough of a frame in OpenCanvas as it's very close to pencil and paper.
I do have photoshop and should probably start using it for backgrounds.
Personally I mix and match between my mouse and pen. Normally I scan in my original work and go over it with the Bezier, Freehand and Line tools (pen, pencil and line) to create an outline, mixing between mouse and pen depending how I'm feeling at the time and how exact/artistic I need the points.
Normally for painting whole areas quickly, I'll use the mouse and stylus in the highlights. If I'm drawing something detailed and abstract for a background, I'll draw with my pen like it's an Impressionist painting. If I'm doing something technical and exact, I'll rely on my mouse.
...
Yeah good choice! I just draw with the Pen tool and the mouse!

Save up and buy one you cheapskate. Wishing for one doesn't make it appear. It took me 5 months to save for one.

When did I ever say that I wasnt willing to work for it?
All I said was that I want one. I would have already gotten one, but spent most of my extra cash on a 360.
No need to be a dick.
