Starting Flash Artists Answer

There's been alot of talk about crappy movies being sent to NEWGROUNDS.COM that is only for professional works, i think there's only one way to solve this problem by having another NG page dedicated to starting flash designer, a page totally seperate from NEWGROUNDS.COM were they vote on eachothers movies and such where they get to a certain point and "graduate" from this page and are allowed to start posting there Flash on NEWGROUNDS, to me this will get rid of any crap that's on this website (freeing up alot of space) and make it more respectable to people who want to see good flash, the only problem i would think is that this would cost money and it would be annoying to run 2 websites wit two different portals, but you never know somebody might want to pick up on this idea

Because Politics is just a name.
Not everything we discuss is political, but Politics as a name serves it's main purpose of discouraging idiots from coming in here.
What we are meant to discuss is completely up to us.
We can't be told what to discuss, but politics is meant for intelligent discussion.

Nothing wrong with discussing it here... there is, however, an entire forum devoted to Flash. You might get more feedback in there.
If you have such a suggestion, perhaps you can contact Tom or Wade directly via e-mail. See how they feel about the idea.

I know it's not really a political subject, but if you want an intelligent reply, here goes.

The existing Portal, in my opinion, serves very well for both beginning and experienced Flash artists. When a beginner has progressed in his/her skill enough to produce a fairly decent animation, it can be submitted, should get a decent score, may make the daily top 5 if it is particularly good for a beginner, and may get placed in a collection. If the artist has not progressed enough to make a good animation, then the movie gets blammed. A separate Portal for beginners would in all likelyhood just be a place where people just throw out crap.
