Is it just me or has this forum died?

I remember when I first joined you guys and started helping the new flashers.... I also remember how there was a post every split second. Now I come her once in every two days and there are only ever 4 or less new topics, thats a disgrace! What happened to the time when it was impossible to answer every friggen question without having to race other helpers to it, now its like ehh who cares, there are so many others out there that they can handle it. Im ashamed that such a great place has lost its originality and personality while the general forum still lives on with no rival at all....

Oh the memories... Any thoughts?

I think Titbread is hard at work on scripting something.
I'm busy with my new website and trying to get the Tutorial page up and my own flash work done. Kinda hard to do. Blaklyon is having problems with getting his site up because I gave him his own subdomain and something somewhere got messed up. Got tired of trying to set things up Solo. LOL. DrPunker, AKA NippleClock, is doing voice acting for my next Flash piece. He's damn good. I'm working on several flashes at once. I hope to have some things done and submitted soon. I also set up my own forums and other things on my website. Follow the sig pic to see how much work I've done. Blaklyon now has 4 movies on NG and I only have one. :( ..... But I have a Portal Award! :) ...... However, He's probably gonna get a bunch of awards when he finishes all those games he's hard at work on. So I better get crackin on my own stuff! ^_^ If you'd like to help out or join my staff. Go for it. I'd love to have you join.

WHAT ABOUT ME! i help new ppl TO!..DONT I GET ANY RECOGNITION!? damn..just cuz i aint been a member for more then 2 years i dont get recognized..CHEAPEST ......>:)..nipple clock did sum voices for me that i was gon use in my paintball game..but nah...and i asked him to make me more voices...but i dun think hes doing it..oh well..i asked untitled for sum actionscript help but mr. "no no no actionscript hard!do movies first" was to much of a dickhead to help me...I AINT NEVER JOININ A CLUB LIKE THE CLOCK CREW OR THE LIGHT SABER CREW OR THE W.A.C OR THE CCC (even tho i was a member but shortly quit cuz there was no point) !!!

It's true. Actionscript is pretty complicated. I'm learning the ins and outs of it now so I won't have to call on my Staff to do all the actionscripting work. I'll try to handle what I can and only ask for help when I really need it. I'm reading up on making AI for games now and it's complicated but I think I can grasp it. (It'll be awhile before I start constructing those kinda games. I'm doing some movies first.) ^_^ Don't think I'll be writing tutorials on it even if I figure it all out. lol. Untitled-1 is gonna help Blaklyon and myself with action-scripting. He's seen our talent and agreed to help with what he could. ^_^

I am here just been away from my pc for like 3days cos I had some shit to do, we cant be online constantly. But ur right ppl have left cos it's dead.

Atm I'm working on a project which I might actually finish ( yeah, I never finish games, I get bored and start another) this one continues wiv my none ng shown but to be released on dvd tom eyre comedy series, which revolves around true-stories (u will not beleive me but honest they're true) about a boy called tom eyre, that I know. He's a complete dick.

I have also been expelled from school recently, because I decided to express the laws of freedom of speech and tell the truth of how a teacher spat at me and the head teacher and him threatend my if I told anyone.

So I aint gonna finish high-school (thats what it is for u yanks in it?) or secondary school. (i'm 16 last year, gcse shit) so I'm trying to get amazing at flash to get a job in it.

I have also been mcing and djing and working wiv music alot (so I have been very busy, and thats why a bit lax on posts recently, but I aint going.

i wouldnt really know if it was dead, i havent really been goin here. my stress level went waaaaaay up lately, and i am starting to not want to talk to ppl as much. i blocked over 30 ppl on aim that either just talk from ng or get flash tips cuz i cant stand it! i used to have like 7 ppl talkin to me at once and its sooooooo hard. most want help in flash, and i just lost all my flash files, .fla and swf, becuz i had them all in one file and experimented for the first time in uploading to kazaa. then, once they were on kazaa i didnt really want them on kazaa, and thinking they were still in my .fla/.swf folder, i deleted them all, only to find out that they werent still in my folder. so that really sucked. also, yesterday punker (i dont like to call him nippleclock, i just call him punker for short) and i had a delimna w/ emerald tokyo becuz both of us have become pro-clock. and number dude has been a real pain in the ass on aim, saying i want to be fucked in the ass by sbc. damn, he is a n00b really, even though he has been on the flash forums for quite a while, he is still a fresh n00b. he doesnt know too much about flash. anyway, i have tons of ideas for flashes, but i am completely unmotivated to make anything. i had a school project on the holocaust that i had to finish last weekend so i couldnt do much of anything except the project. also, the mods have banned me three times. i seriously dont think i deserved this. the last time was for telling someone to get the full version of flash by getting kazaalite, and kazaalite is legal! i am also been listening to my Über-nastily long kazaa playlist everyday while playing gta vice city a lot. i am also just not going to newgrounds too much anymore, i've been trying to learn html so i can build a website on geocities. emerald tokyo is helping me learn it, but i already know a bit of it. anyway, u wont be seeing me too much anymore, unless u talk to me on aim or msn messenger. i am also in love with a girl which i am determined to go out with, and she is taking my mind off of others, so that is also contributing to why i have not been here. i am starting to move away to talking to online friends and i'm mainly just talking to ppl i know in my town. honestly, i could care less if i never saw any of you again, i mean, sure its fun to talk to u guys, but u arent my life. anyway, have fun, and dont worry, i'll still talk to tit, emerald, and punker on aim. peace.

anywayz, i left teh flash bbs ona-counta-cause no one was ever really that helpfull to me. aside from my AIM dudes (tokyo, tit, unhtitled-1, etc) and a few ppl in teh falsh bbs, and i mean a few, (jarse being teh only one i can think of off hand) everyone were assholes. all i ever heard was noob this and fewel that. i understand teh ones that come in here asking questions that have been answered time and time again, but some ppl sincerely needed help, and were mocked as a result. thats why i quit coming. it's nothing against you freinds {{{ }}}. it just doesn't make sense to me. you'd think that superior users would want to decrease teh number of shitty movies by helping, but no! they'd rather discourage newcomerz by making fun of them.

sure, once in a while you get "how do i make buttons" or "how do i make flash cartoons" or the infinate preloader questions, those i understand getting pissy about. but sometomes its hard for people to get a handle on how flash works. i'm one of those people. sure, i'm not bad. but i'm not good either. i can't get help here anymore, cause no one will help me. so if i need it, i ask one of the forementioned freinds, or ask a clock.

i'll try to start being a little more attentive though, it's just discouraging to see so much tom-foolery when people need sincere help and can't get it.

You guys put me into a deep thought and all of you are right, we are wasting our lives here, we should be out forfilling it like sporting or camping. Despite what some of you may think this forum is dead, nobody comes here anymore and you know what part of the blame is us. We continuesly told them - pardon the french - to preey much fuck off, usually just expecting them to come back later, but they havent most have lost hope in us and are pushing forward by themselves. Maybe it wasnt such a bad idea.

Punker - Nipple, whatever - live it up man, rock on, you are one inspirational mother fucker - mine better not be next -, you are a champion and I hope you enjoy life to the fullest and give you daughter whatever she wants adn needs. I remember when you came all full of ideas and dreams, I hope you never forget them and keep going, live happy.

Tit, the one and only we know little about each other but I still respect you, you have always shared knowledge about scripting and flash whenever the time came, and you still do. I know you live far away from me but I know you will always do well in life. By the way dont give up on the school system because of something like that - fight them, fight them to the very end. and I guess I will see you around, catcha later mate.

God, what a fella ay, knows more about flash then you can poke a stick at. I am glad that you have made the move, it may mean you will never read this, but you have always been there for me and I just wish I had the chance to do the same for you. This isnt as long and forfilling as what I would have liked but it will do. Sorry for the others that I didnt mention....

My life basically has been revolving around family, friends, wanting to get my own place, trying to fix my Camaro (Broken Piece of shit!!), hoping in vain for my boyfriend to love me back (He has no emotions....), and trying to make my own kick ass website with Multiplayer Games and all that kinda stuff. Don't worry... I'm not asking for help LOL. Blaklyon wants to make Breakin a Multiplayer game if he can figure out the scripting. So, I said I'd help him. The buying of my own Domain and Web hosting is for doing that and many other things. So, I might not be posting as much as when i first started. The online life isn't really our lives, but it's fun. I didn't say I was going to write all those Tutorials myself, you ass. I said I was gonna get peeps who knew Actionscripting to write them. I can write some on what I know. I person-to-person helped some newbies learn Tweening and how to make objects dragable for a dress up doll. As I learn I teach. It's a habit. I like sharing what I know and helping others, even if I don't know much right now I can still help those who don't know what I do know and wanna learn. And, most of these tutorials out there mainly give straight code. If the kids knew which books to click in the actionscript menu then they can find the codes faster. But, they don't know which book contains what and the Tutorials rarely tell them that. Which is why I figured my kind of Tutorials can help them out faster. Plus, the way I plan on setting up the Tut page will be easy for them to navigate and find what they are looking for. Quit acting like you know everything. I admit I don't know it all. You pretend you know everything. For your info I'm going back to college too on a couple GRANTS! ^_^ Just gotta choose what I wanna study this time around. Last time it was Fine Arts. This time I'm thinking about taking Journalism. I'll probably wait until this fall before I start.
