Death? I think I will never get over with it, I love them so much, I don't want them to die. Well no one wants a loved one to die, but do you actually think you'll forget about your parent's death when they die?

Odd that you just asked this.
I just spent the past three days at my 23-year-old cousin's wake & funeral, and I have to say, that was probably the toughest thing I could've gone through.
In the subject of my parents it's more likely they'll die of natural causes, unlike my cousin, who died in a tragic accident, which made it all the more tough to come to terms with, especially in the next year or so.

Of course not! Over time, though, you stop mourning the fact that they are no longer with you, and you start rejoicing in their accomplishments and their legacy. I think it's better to celebrate someone's life than it is to mourn their passing.

You're right, but it's so hard to do that, when you think about it, you'll end up crying.

Nobody will "forget" their parents death. Probably get over it, but not forget.
BTW does anyone recognize me?

I don't think you ever fully get over the death of someone. I mean, it's inevitable that my parents will die, but a chunk of me will still go with them. After all, they are my parents, and I would miss them a ton.

Yea, I do recognize you. Yes, I really do, it's really hard to forget about your name.

I'm surprised that this thread hasn't been raided by "LOL I HATE MY PARENTS I"M GOING TO KILL THEM!!!" yet.
I love my parents though and it will take me some time to get over their deaths.

I've had five family members and one close friend die in my lifetime, the friend just a couple of weeks ago. It takes time to come to terms with death and to remember the person for who he was instead of the fact that he's dead, but it does happen. Trust me.

The people who say that phrase that you have wrote above your real post are complete wusses. Almost all the parents in the world will love you.

I think age is a major factor here. Sure you cannot imagine your parents dying now, as a teenager, but when you become an adult and start a family of your own, you will have a better understanding and appreciation of life and death. And if your parents pass away of natural causes when they're older, you won't be tragically ripped apart by it. Partly because you've started a family of your own, and partly because you understand that they lived their lives well and it is just a fact of life.

I like to remind those people that in reality, they fornicated with thier mother while passing out of the vagina.

My mom passed away when I was sixteen. You get over it. That's life. My father on the otherhand, not too sure. My mom was very important to me, she gave me her knowledge, wisdom, her beliefs, and open mind to wield thoughts to be. The thing is, we all have a time to go, and when it's time, there's nothing you can do stop it really. All you have left is good times and bad times and move on from there. You either grow strong from this experience, or get hurt by it. Everyone's different on the matter.

My father died when I was in the 7th grade.
I don't think you ever truly get over it. I still miss him a lot but, you just learn to live with it and to move on with your life.

Not everyone will. Like those crazy fucking kids who end up killing their parents.
I know I wouldn't though :( I had a dream my mom died and I was so depressed the next day.
