I finally have my copy of Reason.

After all this time, I finnaly own it. Reason 3.0.

This thing is amazing, it has so many features that blow my mind of what I can do with Reason. With help from the one and only -API-, he told me the basics of Reason, and I am currently making several tracks waiting to be uploaded onto the Audio Portal.

This is a happy day for me, and make sure to check out some new tracks on the way soon!

I will still be using FL for requested collaborations with fellow audio artists. Along with using it to help me with reason.

When you BUY reason, what you basicly pay for is the SERIAL, the LICENSE for the program. When youv done that, propellerheads.se have lots of cool stuff you can download for free (well, you PAYED forthe program, so basicly it aint free...).
However, if you haven´t BOUGHT the program, i strongly suggest you go DO that, especailly before making a thread like this about it!

i used reason for about 3yrs i think....too long anyway.

malstrom fever.

ill list a few of my favorite effects/instrument chains.

malstrom [sawtooth > BP filter] > scream [tape distortion set at 11o'clock] > light reverb (just to space it out a bit) ------ basically u draw ur synth line in and automate the filter frequency around to get a really nice wahwah sound.

dr.rex > malstrom [run the audio output from the rex into the filter (u only need 1 side) and set the filter to comb, turn the resonance up slightly to make it clang]> mixer [run the normal malstrom outputs into a mixer] --------- classic easy sounding metallic / springy drums. (more resonance = more clang) with a combfilter if u set the res really high and the frequency low, it makes a very low clang noise. then just after a drum hit u move the frequency up a tiny bit and then leave it stationary u get a boiiiiiiiiiinnnnnng moving upwards smoothly. hope that makes sense.

i dont know how familiar u are with reason / music making but i hope these 2 are useful and if u need anymore help with reason just ask. ive used it independantly over most other programs for far too long now.
