It's getting quite sick seeing practicaly every topic here bashing the US and revolving around the war on Iraq. Can anyone post anything not dealing with this crap? Hmm? Anyone?

Good luck finding something interesting that isn't either the Space Shuttle Debris or the War on Iraq.

The point of these forums is to discuss politics and current events.
And, surprise suprise, Iraq falls into both.

I understand. But how many similar threads can you have on the same page? Every new thread deals with Iraq. Perhaps if the topic was a bit different then I wouldnt mind, but look at them. Every topic is either "Bush is a moron" or "America is attacking Iraq for oil" only rephrased to make a more grammatically incorrect title. Seriously, it seems that if it wasnt for the US, this forum would not have anything to talk about. International? Not really.

I think it's time to stop making new threads on Iraq, and limit debate to the existing ones. Maybe that way, we can have some threads on other topics. Maybe the mods can lock some of the threads (particularly the ones started by idiots who crossed over from the General board).

Hahaha - that reminded me, last week in The Onion they had a headline: "Man fails to convince NASA to haul broken washing maching off lawn"

I believe LilJim is going to work on a way to merge topics, so that threads that are very similar can be combined into one without having to delete or lock copy topics.
Quote of the day: @Nysssa "What is the word I want to use here?" @freakapotimus "Taint".

I'd like to see that.
Let's merge all the politics topic into MEGAPOLTIK and go to war with the General forums.

That'd be great. I hate having to say the same thing in a new thread everyday.

And the clubs will have their own forums also. The BC is going to be one of these and we, the latinos, another.
Going war with the general board?...uuummmm.... sounds interesting. What WoMD will use?

Spam bombs, logic-tipped bullets, etc.
But if everyone constricts themselves to their own forums, (CC, BC, etc), and don't come out.... that will tear apart regular BBS use.
There will be far less debate, people more spread out, less in each area, less to debate each topic, etc.

It's true, and how hard would it be for you to find an intelligent debate then?

Well, since Oz ended on Sunday, we need a good race war. Form some boards. If you really want to have fun, wait for the idiot who says he's Pro-Osama bin Laden. I pity the guy who does that.

That's like asking people to go on the General board, and find a topic that doesn't involve some new club/cult to join.

They never explained why Cuttler left all his stuff to Alvarez...
Anyway, who recognized Vern Shillinger in Spiderman?

Schillinger is the psychiatrist on Law and Order, right? So is Beecher's lover, and the asian minister. Jaz even did a cameo on it. Man...they can't get enough of the law stuff. It was so odd seeing Schillinger as an innocent psychiatrist.
The ending to Oz was a real downer, though. The Schillinger bit was classic, though.

It's pretty hard to find one here. Most people are too dug in in their convictions to actually understand a logical argument.
