You know what makes insomnia a bitch if you're trying to get over it?

When you have other interesting insomniacs that you stay up with. The conversations are just so much sweeter -- either more hilarious, or more intense and thought-provoking. Anyone else notice that?

Status report: Recent bed time, 5AM+ for three consecutive nights now. So much for the 2AM deadline.

I'm not sure I'm imagining the correct situation,do you mean somethng like 'sleep-overs'?

Sometimes a sleep over with friends, or a LAN party of sorts, but more often than not I find myself on the internet or phone chatting it up with other insomniacs at the early hours of the morning (when i'm not busy with something else). And as I was saying previously, it seems like the conversations are much more interesting at such hours, which makes sleeping more difficult.

Another hour has passed, another hour has been wasted, and yet sleep remains unattainable.

I have a spider.

He's trapped in a cup.

Has been for the past 3 days.

Through the nights I've been observing him. He doesn't seem to know how to climb.

Does anyone know how I can possibly keep him alive? What do spiders eat? I tried nudging him a fly, but he didn't eat it.

Try nodging him some small branches first, he needs a web first before he starts to feel comfortable. Also, spiders don't like dead food: they prefer it struggling for its survival when they drain their victim's blood out. So you could catch a fly or some ants, remove the paws/wings, and feed it to her. This way, you should be able to keep your spider alive.

Actually I have to ask a question …Why does every time I mean it when I say “every time” I’m tired people ask me if I’m high?

Why and how can they tell that because sometimes I am and it freaks me out

Hey, i might actually get to bed early tonight. (2 amish) My dad woke me up at 11 so i didn't get my full 9 hours of sleep. (5am-2pm)

Anyways i got more sleep today i went to bed at 3 and woke up at 8 ...thats two more hours then i Usually get

i'm trying to get the night shift at my local grocery store, i doubt i'll get it because of my age but it's worth it

I've had too many night shifts in a row, this week was my week off... only to continue once again this coming friday.

Oh, and my spider ran away while I was fetching him some nice sticks and live food. He never loved me.
