Am I the only person who finds the word " love" completley and totally abused when it coems to relationships. I've seen people go out with each other for a week, or even a few days, and then proclaim there "love" for one another.

I find it rather disturbing how society has somehow managed to trivialise one of the most important emotions, and turn it into a word that is used between two people just because they want to get inside each others pants as fast as possible, instead of a way of showing a deep connection between two people.

I agree with Tri-Nitro-Toluene, civilization seems to trivialize all but the least important things. One of the reasons I like Fight Club so much. Instead of worrying about food and shelter, we bitch about filmstars and the newest haircut.

I love this club. I do have a question for our founder: What inspired you to start this club? Are you some sort of peer mentor, or do you simply believe in "love, not lust?" Anyway, just curious.

Also, a great song for all you proud virgins to listen to would be "Tired of Sex," by Weezer (my current favorite band XD). It's basically about Rivers Cuomo's realization that casual sex had become monotonous and meaningless to him, and that he should wait until he gets married so it means more to him. The album that this song was on (Pinkerton) was released in 1996, and he just got married this year, so that means he went 10 years without sex... kiddies, you can be like him, too. Just say no, lol.

If you had paid attention, you would know that South Carolina's consenting age is 14. I dont like it.
