And now, getting to the topic at hand: In my opinion, no, the unconsenting are not truly virgins in the literal sense of the word. However, in a "spiritual" sense, they are just as pure as anyone who has managed to maintain their virginity. Since they did not agree to the act that they were part of, they can still keep the virginal mindset in some ways. Somewhat similar in concept is the topic of abortion when it comes to these same unconsenting people. Personally, I'm pro-choice, but there are people in the world who believe that abortion in any form is wrong. But really, is it okay to force a woman who did not wish to perform the act through which the child was conceived to give birth to said child? Rape is a touchy subject...

Physically, yes, it is an awful and forced way to lose your virginity. In all other senses, no. I've always felt that it was more than just a sexual act of "penetration". Virginity is something that is given, not just in a physical sense, but also mentally and spiritually. In the words, like a gift. Once a person willingly takes those steps of giving themselves to someone, even though often times they may not feel completely comfortable with the decision, it is an action that they should be held accountable for. The fact that I feel it transcends beyond just the physical is why I think that those who were forced into such a situation should have another chance to experience what was rightfully theirs to give (not have taken away) without any doubt put upon them.
