That is just a dense question in all honesty. It has been made by Sky One and will therefore be shown on Sky One. Sunday the 17th of December 2006! I can't wait!

More news as and when I get it, but Google has nothing new today :(

Well, I did see one series which looked more like Desperate Housewives - it was called suburban shootout, where there are two factions of neighbours who wage war upon each other, while maintaining a middle-class businessmen front. Pure genius

Well, read is used in the most loose possible terms here, surely. I know it's got a little book explaining stuff about it, but anyone should know it is used mainly for the map. I have seen it, but only use it as a reference during books like Soul Music and Hogfather

Hogfather is one of Pratchett's best, without doubt. To be honest, I think that, even though Mr. Teatime is strange but cool, he is not as cool as the Librarian.

Don't worry about it

If you want to learn more about it, Sky have released their webpage about the production

So I was looking at the books in my local Goodwill, when all of a sudden, a title catches my eye: Hogfather.
It was brand new, Hardback, and I got it for $1.00.

Nice one! I've started reading Wintersmith and have finished reading "Where's My Cow?", which my brother bought for me with THUD! for Xmas. Pure genius

You have a good eye for a bargain, my friend. Get it signed and put an extra £20-30 on the book!

first thing i did when i got internet was order three more books (eric, men at arms, and lords and ladies) so now i'm on track again and have plenty to read for my vacation. i started eric yesterday when it came in and will probably finish it tonight..

for such a short book, it does explain a lot in some other books like interesting times and small gods and most other later books...so funny how i always overlooked eric in the store because of how small it was.

Eric explains so much, as it deals with the backbone character of Discworld (Rincewind) and Pratchett's favourite in another small, but significant cameo (Death)

Yeah, Ridcully is a great Archchancellor. I personally love the way he has a rivalry with the Dean and drives the Bursar (even more) insane

Well, you could just try and get the books from play, which ships all over the world.

Other than that, I wouldn't know where you'd find awesome bargains on Pratchett stuff

pratchett paper backs aren't too bad at borders, considering they range from about $4 to $8. in fact, i'm sort of happy that pratchett isn't as popular in the US as he really should be, because i've noticed paper backs from more popular authors winds up being more...but then again, that's borders. if your town has a good library (which mine doesn't) then i'm sure you can find the discworld series, or at least bits and peices. unless you're like me and want to have em all... ^_^

Ownership of Pratchett's titles is like a status symbol. I've got a collection in paperback (the copies I actually read), while I'm collecting them all in hardback which I keep under secure lock and key to prevent them getting stolen. I'll get these signed someday

If I ever become a well known author, then i'll try and start a professional relationship with him, and after i've become more known then him I'll show up at his door one day with every discworld ever written and ask him to sign a few things for me...like all of them.
