I am curious what the users of ngs iq is. I recently took an iq test on http://funeducation.com/iqtest and i scored 118. The site says its phD certified, and i am curious what everyone elses iq is. I bet everyone here kicks my ass at an iq test anyday. But I want to compare myself too you guys. Try not to lie alright. I just want an honest answer and i am curious the iq of you users

My school gave me an IQ test for one of those "smart" classes. I scored around 138. But you need 140 to get in it.

Why are people so hung up on knowing what their IQ is? It's just a number, it doesn't measure your worth as a human, or your capacity to succeed in life, just your ability to correctly complete a certain set of tasks. Sure there may be some merits to having a high IQ, but to me the only measurable one is your own smug sense of self-satisfaction that arises from feeling like you're better than everyone else. I know people with high IQs, people who've gotten perfect scores on their SATs, people who are technically brilliant, but whose only fate in life is to be a stepping stone for an "inferior" person with more initiative.

Also, for the record I have no idea what my IQ is. The only tests I've taken designed to measure IQ have been for shits-and-giggles on less than reputable websites. It could be 155, it could be 55, I don't give a shit.

I'm inbetween 140 and 150, but I want to point out that the IQ tests you take in schools are scaled, just as some internet tests.

In school they scale it up, and usually they tell you your potential IQ.

On some internet test (if you are not an adult) your score will be scaled down, since its comparing you to adults.

....IQ is only one's potential, the only thing that matters in life is whats behind your IQ.

i got 138, but all the iq tests are rated differently, so you can only compare this results from the same test. I doubt this is actually a test you'd get at school. I was able to get into gifted classes though (those are the smart people classes)

Just to let you all know, anything about 115 lands you in the top 16% in the world. Anything above 130 puts you in the top 2%. (Mean: 100, Standard Deviation: 15, using a standard bell curve and normal distribution)

This IQ test makes you submit your age, so chances are, it scales it accordingly, IQ tests are designed so that your IQ doesn't change throughout your life.

I got 138 by the way, and I doubt that people are actually getting what they say they are, because I redid the test, and got all of the questions right, and that only gave me 142.

The highest I've ever scored is 143 but I usually get around 120. I find it very disconcerting that whilst some of you claim to be so smart no-one had picked up on the fact that over 33% of people to respond so far claim to heve an I.Q. in the top 0.1% i.e. 145 or above. Am I the only person who smells bullshit?
