I would hope that people, adults even, would be at least somewhat knowledgable about the major freakin event that happened 5 years ago.

You've got two, no three, flavours you can choose from...

A) - The Mainstream View - terrorists from Al-Qaeda flew in from the Middle East, hi-jacked 4 planes, and used them to wage terror across the US. Damage include the destruction of the World Trade Center, and part of the Pentagon. The terrorists acted upon their own accord, based on their instruction from Al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden. The War on Terror then began, as it were.

B) - The Conspiracy Theory - Bush set up and/or willingly went along with the attack plan. Some may claim that he was directly responsible for it - others may say that he let it happen through neglect of intelligence that it was to occur. The follow-up is that he used this as a preliminary basis to restrict civil rights, declare war overseas, finish what his father started, blah blah blah.

C) - Outside Interventionism (a la - The Jews did it) - Claims that Israel and the Jews are responsible for the 9/11 attacks, noting ties between the US and Israel, manipulation of the US to destroy Israeli threats, and a bunch of other crap.

These are the theories (crackpot or not - you decide), and consequently, the arguments.

Truly i think that bush did it just for the simple fact that he could get a good enough reason to bomb the crap outta the middle east so bush can get control of there oil supply. But in return isrial (I forgot how to spell it) is raising the gas prices. That is what is supposed to be happening but isnt there a slight chance that bush is in cahoots with other gas people and he is just raising gas prices under his juristiction for his own gain. Also many other polititions who are bribed to keep their mouths shut for some money. There clearing that there is a big chance that there is corruption in the white house.

Ok, about the 9/11 , I'll just list the first few things that I found as proving that the attack on the WTC happened with the permission of the president and the agencies responsible for the US defence.

1. Because of a "strange coincidence" the whole NSA had scheduled drills precisely at 9 a.m. on 9/11. They were practicing thei counteractions in case a plane crushed in one of the NSA buildings in Washingtone.

2. On 9/11 the whole US territory was lest to be defended by only 7 airbases.

3. In the period september 2000 - june 2001 the american air defence systems intercepted and escorted to the nearest airports 67 planes, which were suspected to be flying illegaly ("air piracy"). The system is highly effective and fighters are being launched at the slightest suspicion of air piracy. Nothing like that happened on 9/11.

4. At 8.20 the NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) suspects that Flight 11 was hijacked. At 8.40 p.m. NORAD is informed about the hijacking. None of the defence instistutions reacts properly to the news and everyone remains passive. 6 minutes later the plane crashes into the WTC.

5. Bush said that at 8.46 a.m. (when the tragedy happened) he was waiting in front of a classroom and saw the collision on the near TV. The problem is that the crash was shown on the television AFTER the tragedy happened - nobody knew a plane was going to hit the buildings and there were no reporters nor TV cameras at the scene.

6. Finally, 32 minutes after it all began, fron the airbase in Otis the first fighters (F-15) are being launched. At a speed of 1875 miles per hour, the fighters should have travelled 270 miles in 9 minutes. Nevertheless, they couldn't reach the second plane which was only 100 miles from there.

7. At 8.56 a.m. FAMA (the Federal Air Marshal Association) contacts with the Pentagon, but noone actually contacts NORAD till 9.24, in brake of the rules. A MD speaker said that they couldn't possibly know about Flight 77 (which crashed in the Pentagon). This is a lie, as since the first reports of air piracy at 8.20, officials in the Pentagon are allarmed and demand quick reactions from NORAD. Still nothing happens.

8. At 9.38 a.m. Flight 77 collides with the Pentagon - 42 after contact with it was lost and a whole hour after NORAD was informed of the wirst hijacking. This whole time the USA defence systems are like petrified.

Actually, I am very disappointed of Maddox this time. His argumentation is too weak, even for a hater like him. First he writes about the boy that created the LC movies and the fact that he's still alive. He could have simply flown his own personal jet fighter to the 9/11 towers and blew them both up himself. With only himself as the actor in the conspiracy, there is no need for a grand conspiracy, and thus Maddox's argument is defeated.

That's because it is a generally accepted fact that 19 hijackers flew two planes into the WTC, one into the Pentagon, and one into a field in Pennsylvania. Your version of the events are not accepted as fact because they are not based in reality, your simply trying to take a very horrible tradgedy and view it as though it were a comic book, because your small brain can't deal with the reality of the situation.
