Luis, what smoothing do you use? all your drawings have almost perfect line thickness all the way aound the object.

In the cartoon business, if actors are looking for work they send out voice reels. Animators show their portfolios. We writers have our sample scripts.

Can you paste this on its own Animation : Main thread and just link us?

Luis, at the start of that animation you did with clocks in and you killing them all, you did an ever-so-nifty panning effect at the beginning of the film. You referenced it on the first page of this thread, I believe, with your Storyboarding tut. Anyways, could you please make a tutorial on how to make a panning effect like that?

Never forget...

He was a masturbation addict which made his hand very strong, fast, and precision was everything. he had to get out of the habit so he put it to the mouse. poor, poor mouse.

No need for a tutorial, it's just common sense when using the V-CAM , download it and use it in your movies - it's a really handy trick. Just tween the cam across your drawings and stuff to simulate the whole panning thing. You could also do it without the cam by just tweening a long symbol of those buildings - the foreground one would go fast, midground a little slower, and background the slowest. Makes it look more realistic.

always behind schedule.

Hah! I knew this thread was missing something! And here it is:
http://sfb.johnrichie.com/tutorials.php
Good lip-syncing advice in there. And lots of good other stuff.

Oh, and this thread should have the tutorail list as the first post on every page. But Luis was planning on doing that already....right Luis?

I dont like using the vcam to pan actually.. i like to have control over all the panning speeds of the things being panned.. and sometimes the vcam just taking control of it all is a bit limiting. IMO.

Anyway for those wondering.. my smoothing on brush is set to 47.. err ive never changed it from the time i installed flash nor did i in any of the flash versions ive ever owned... im really not doing anything special.. *shrug*

As has been said before my wrist is a finely tuned machine ... i credit this to years of chronic masturbation. Flash makes you VERY lonely.

Hey Luis, I haven't really been following this thread, but I link to it when people ask questions.

Can you like post the tutorial list maybe every other page or somehow so that the list is on top of the page?

Because when linking someone to it you have to find the page with the most recent list, and link them to that page. It's a little annoying.

Just a thought.
