Recon_Rebel joked with him about Ramagi getting pissed off, and mentioned her name a ton of times so if she searched for it, she'd see the posts.

Spancker took it seriously.

Recon_Rebel said he was just joking.

Ramagi showed up and laughed evilly about checking this topic.

And I continued the joking with a "OMG, Spancker, you're in trouble now!" post.

it'll go faster though as your ranks and experience go up. since your votes will count for more and thus you are likely to get movies blammed/protected as you see fit more often than when they didn't count for as much

i've got a question for everyone, does the top rank work like level30 where there can only be one and the only one makes the other ranks harder to get every time that person get points?

I doubt it, because all the other ranks have had a flat point requirement to get to them. i.e. the amount doesn't raise each time Ramagi blams or protects like the exp amounts for levels raise every time humantarget deposits.

Now, maybe someone getting to level 30 triggers a system similar to the experience system, but that would be kinda cruel, since the point of blamming and protecting is quite different than the point of rewarding people for being around for a long time and coming to the site every day like the exp system does.

yeah ramagi hasn't reached the top yet, ranks do work differently than levels to my understanding. being that experience effects the voting power, not the level

That's a good observation. Yes, it's your actual exp total that effects your vote, not your level # (i.e. nothing happens when you level up, it's just 10 extra exp like any other)... and exactly the opposite holds true for blams and protects. You don't get a tiny little %age bonus to your vote from every point, you get 2% up each time you ascend to a new rank.

I kinda like it that way, keeps things different. Though I suppose if the experience system held on to your extra voting power until you hit a new level, that'd be cool (at the same time, it'd suck to go down a level and lose it all at once).

Uh... yeah? That's why people deposit, man. Well, that and to get a new level icon, I guess.

My 1740 exp gives me 5.58 (before you factor in the 24% from blam/protect rank). Humantarget has a 10.00 for being the highest user. Probably 95% of NG has 5.00 or under base voting power. It's really hard to scale up once you hit level 9's exp levels.

i heard some were that when you get to level 15 or 16 that you need like 250 day's for a level of some thing like that :(
