Lust: You get to be desired by any woman/man. For the rest of your life you can have sex with whoever you want. Nobody will deny you. It's as simple as that.
With out the effort its almost not worth it. Besides, I decided a long time ago I only need one person, and if I need some special power to make them lust after me they don't love me. And love is what I want, not lust. (yes, a guy is denying sex with whomever he could possibly want to have it with)
Envy: You get to become the person you envy most. If it is your dream to be a rockstar, you can follow in the footsteps of your favorite musician. You may only follow one person though. Once you have chosen your path there is no turning back.
If I truly envied anyone this might work, but I'd rather have my own path in life, and not make other people's mistakes. I'd have to deny Envy as well. There is nothing worse than not wanting to be yourself.
Pride: You are looked up to and people appreciate you. For your entire life you get nothing but respect from anyone, no matter how poorly you treat them. Things in life become much easier to attain. (Sin loophole. Just because you get unlimited respect doesn't mean you can get whatever you want. If you try exploiting the sin by taking over the world and gaining ultimate power, you lose your Pride.)
This looks good on the front, but it would become empty after a long time. They wouldn't respect me for who I was but this magical shell around me. And I wouldn't want everything to be easy. I might want it now, but if everything were as easy as snapping my fingers what would be worth anything to me. And more, where would I have a friend. If everyone is going to respect me, I'm not going to have anyone I can confide in. It once again wouldn't be worth it.
Wrath: You are granted the ability to murder others with no punishment. If you wish, you can make people fear you and have them do your bidding. You are limited to only murdering 100 people a month. (Sin loophole. Just like Pride, you are not allowed to make people fear you so much you're able to take control of the world.)
I have no desire to slaughter inocent people, and even less of a desire to have the police on my back constantly. If I can only kill up to 100 I can never get them all, and it would be all to easy for me to die in some other way. Once again, I must pass.
Sloth: You are able to live a carefree life. You never have to work. You can live as unhealthy as you would like and never worry about death. You won't die until you grow old. You can only die a natural death, of old age. You aren't given riches, but you are able to make it throughout life with enough stuff to satisfy the average person. Also, by taking the path of the Sloth, you are unable to follow your career dreams.
Its not worth it to me to just be the person to go throw life doing nothing. I wouldn't be happy with an average job and just enough. I could do it, but I would rather have to put in some effort. Being lazy is for vacations, I get so bored and unhappy when I really have nothing to do. No to sloth.
Gluttony: You can gorge on anything and everything. Whenever you ask for a specific type of food, you will immediately have it. Also, your body is the upmost conditioned. You're a superior athlete, no matter how much you eat or what you eat. You're in better shape than the average Pro athlete. Your body can only die of old age, but you're still in danger of dying other ways. Murder, accident, etc.
How long untill everything I eat becomes trivial and doesn't matter to me. I suppose this would be the easiest to live with, but I would much rather eat just three meals a day and have my body the way it is. Its easier to appreciate things when they are harder to get. No thank you.
Greed: You are a very rich person. You are given a billion dollars. If you somehow use it all and are in need of more money, you will have to work for it. Also, you have to do at least fifteen hours of charity work a week, or the money is gone.
I suppose this one might also be livable. If I had a billion dollars I could use it do the right thing. Charity work doesn't mean I have to spend all my money on charity, it just means I could go to a soup kitchen and help out. But once again, the life of an extremely rich person isn't all its cracked up to be. Everyone would be a suck up because they wanted money. I'd be so used to having money I wouldn't worry about spending it and probably run out long before I wanted to. The only good thing about this one is there is an out. I stop doing good and I'm a normal person again. I would decline this one as well.
Which sin would you choose?
Given the option, none. I'm happy with life as is. I'll work for what I need.
