I guess Saddam wants to debate Bush and have the debate broadcast worldwide. I keep messing up when I try to use the HTML so I can't link to the story, but it's on the news at www.netscape.com
I don't know if this is such a good idea since I can't really stomach listening to Bush bumble and stumble his way through any more public speaking, but it reminded me of when Saddam challenged Bush to a duel a couple of months ago when this whole thing was starting.
Does anybody else think that a duel would've been a great idea? Bush wins, Saddam is removed from power and the US can install a democracy or puppet regime, whatever they're gonna do anyways. Saddam wins, the US halts any aggression in the Middle East. No soldiers sent to die, no civilian casualties, no once-prosperous countries reduced to rubble. Bush would rather just send the children of America to do his dirty work for him, even though when it was time for him to go to Nam he hid behind his daddy. At least when Bush Sr. attacked Iraq he knew what it was like to lay his life on the line for his country.
Anyways I'm ranting now, but if a duel went down I'd say the smart money would definitely be on Saddam, regardless of the weapon used.

I'd love to see Bush and Saddam using their propaganda bombs on each other. It's like Celebrity Boxing.

Ha! Seriously man, I'm just envisioning how awesome that confrontation would be.
Saddam: "THE STREETS OF AMERICA, THE GREAT SATAN, WILL RUN RED WITH THE BLOOD OF THE INFIDEL!!!"
Bush: "This here man attempt to kilt my poppy, but doncha worry we gonna gitchoo and your nuke-you-ler weapons o' mass desctructionism."
They should offer it pay-per-view

Saddam: "Your Columbia was brought down as a warning from high above that a war will mean certain death to ALL AMERICANS!"
Bush: "Your mom!"

Aww.... that would have been so sweet, a duel between the two. Pistols? Swords? Gloves? Nukes? Toilet Plunger?
Ok, ok, I'm awake. But they should have put it on Pay-per view. Wussy politicians now days.....

The Michael Jackson ones are by far the best, now that I think about it. The "Devilish" skit had me laughin' for days.

It would shatter all TV ratings records. And I agree that it would be pretty hilarious: I generally support Bush, but the one thing he is not is an orator. And of course, hearing what Saddam had to say would be a laugh riot. Personally, I would watch to see if it turned violent.

Strangely enough, and totally unexpectedly, Bush decided not to participate. Call Guinness, there must be a record for moving goalposts that's been shattered by now.
Anyway, why not go for Bush's mentality. Bush vs Saddam, Hell in a Cell? It'd be perfect for this year's Wresltemania, and far more interesting than the average Austin matchup. Like they ever reach the dizzy heights of "average"...
Propaganda is to a Democracy what violence is to a Dictatorship
Never underestimate the significance of "significant."

I think they should just get together and have a drinking contest. Whoever wins leaves the other one alone. If Saddam doesn't, we can assassinate Saddam with our special forces, and if Bush doesn't, Saddam can do whatever he wants to stop him (which pretty much means whats happening now, but Bush doesn't break treaties, so, it wouldn't really be an issue.)
Whatever.

I feel dumber having read this. Let's just hope Bushie doesn't get the Homeland Security people on you.

Two corrupted men spitting corrupted propaganda to each other! Sounds like lots of fun!
Well, I don't think Bush can wait for that, because he wants his war, but it'd be great to see and watch who'll win! (Well, I think it'll turn out to fifty-fifty, because they're both as corrupted as uhmmm... as uhmmm... well, as eachothers ass!
Awww well, they are corrupted, and that's the only truth!
(It's also truth that 2x5=10, but that's not the point here)

It's true, and that was the point. Don't you think the way Dubya is handling a lot of this stems back to such things? It would seem oddly appropriate.
Besides. He already has them following me around. Something about how he doesn't trust me around his daughters anymore after that night we spent in Tijuana getting hammered and... well...
My point is, is Bush is clueless, and I was using a humorous situation to accentuate my point of such. I realize it may be difficult to understand satire over the web.

Bush's daughters are just a tarnish on the Bush name...oh wait, it's already covered in OIL!
