In an official statement from microsoft today. The xBox 360 was never meant to last more than TWO YEARS in the market . They have announced that a new console will be coming out in November 2007.

The Microsoft xBox 360 is far from the end of it's lifespan. We fully aniticipate that games will be released for the 360 for another five years. With that being said, Microsoft has decided to move forward and keep on top of it's current domination of the console industry. New, and more powerful processors are being released every month. Microsoft hope to introduce a newer, more poweful system, with better connectivity, and new high definition format standards.

I believe Sony's statement of the PS3 being $600 and not dropping the price a minimum of a year more then that load of crap.

i think i heard about this a while ago, it's just a small upgrade for the 360 that will give it more processing power its not gunna be an entirely new system. It's realy just for better performance. Also first post ever YAAAAY!
